Nice one Phlinger - despite the derp you really are very good at this game! Given the video title when I saw you head in twice with all your cryopods I was expecting a different outcome. Took me about 3 hours and a couple of respawns my first time in there on foot, I was grappling up to the artifact tunnel and getting swarmed and killed. By the time I cleared it, my original bag with the good armour and loot was gone. On one of my respawns my bary jumped down and then I figured it was much easier to ride him around down there, but I had to RTB for a cryopod to get him out. On exit I always have a lot of respawns between the constrictions and spend like 15 mins advancing, and dragging bats back to the bary to kill (snakes and arthros I can shoot OK) and only ball him up when I'm sure I can run all the way out - you were so lucky with that part! All the videos I see people grapple up and the tunnel is clear, when I do that its full of horrors so I'm resigned to swimming through (I want the loot anyway), but when I do, the tunnel is always clear. Its like Ark knows! I do now leave a bary in the upper cave to ride out because I always come out to death otherwise.

I have used a bred up terror bird in that cave and I never had to cryopod it😁Plus you just flap your way to the bottom 😊

To get rid of the monochrome cave appearance, set your Global Illumination Quality to High. It took me forever to find this cave in ASA, but it's always been the hardest cave for me to find. I got through it easily with a bary, cryopod (no cryofridge requirement), SCUBA tank, and otter by using the "follow the green glowing plants" trick from ASE.

I hate to say it, but while the SCUBA pants might make you look like Eddie Murphy in his Raw performance, it does also makes you look like a Ken doll at the front. :P Not trying to be nasty, I did really enjoy both your reaction to the pants and the episode in general.

I found you can bary jump up the slope to artifact about half way. Then you can get up the rest of the way on foot.

What settings do we have to change to not need the cryofridge to use pods?….also not sure if you know this (I’m sure you do) if you hold A when dismounting you’ll get off on the left side.

Sorry if this is wrong place for this question. But have used Google and cant find any answers. Im playing on Xbox and since a couple of days ago I cant see what button to split, select, drop item. Its just a white square. And I cant see what food Moschops want either. I have looked in the settings and even pressed reset all. But still not working. Can it be the latest update that messed it up or is it just me with these problems? I put my hope into you and your viewers on this one 😆

The settings are commands under the ini files. If you can't change the ini files, you'll probably need a Cryopod mod to solve that issue.

If there isn't an option in the Single Player Settings, you'll have to change in the ini files. "GameUserSettings.ini" under Server Settings. The command is "DisableCryopodFridgeRequirement=True". You can also disable the enemy check by adding "DisableCryopodEnemyCheck=True". And "AllowCryoFridgeOnSaddles=True" for Cryo fridges on platform saddles and rafts.

The cryopod setting is dumb. running my own server and have normal settings for cryopods is the way to go. I always like to cave with my thyla. I wanted to make that happen.
