Good to see you Sandro 👍😎 I always remember my racing days using Galfer products and being a Galfer supported rider as well! Excellent products as always from the best braking company!

Great looking product and would love to be able to run a set to see how well it will perform on my Harley. The only concern I have is with the reduced amount of material between the cutouts. It is easy to see by your thermal pics that most of the heat is center of the wear area on the rotor and most of us on big bikes have the evidence on our own rotors to confirm and would like to know if the heat in that area is greater than on a solid or previously patterned rotor. How is the heat buildup and transfer on the Cubiq 1 piece rotors compared to the 2 piece floating rotors? Thanks

Thank you and those are some good questions. The heat you see in that center area is not greater than on a traditional round rotor or on a Wave®. With all things being equal the Cubiq® Rotor dissipates heat so well that we see reduced max temps in all areas of the rotor. Heat transfer for solid mount vs. floating is very similar. Even though the solid mount is one large piece so it has more area to transfer thermal energy, the design tires to get rid of as much heat as possible before it could soak down the arms to the mounting point. Once we have the Floating Rotors in stock and on the shelves, we will do a more in-depth deep dive.

@@Galfer_USA I appreciate your quick response and look forward to your in-depth analysis of the floating style once received. Definitely a design that stands out and may end up on my daily ride sometime later this season.
