Did they inform you you were sitting in a Dongfeng with Dacia logo, and the technology is still the same as in 2015? You know there's no 3 fase charging? As a result it can only be used as a second car. And not in the city because you need time and space on you driveway to charge it.... You also need 1 to 2 miles to pass a semi truck. If you ever succeed in passing. So weird not one negative point was mentionned. And you guys really weren't paid to act all this?

@@thedreamfactory6964 given they all already own EV's, they'll already have a way to charge them and won't be concerned about that. Fun to drive and behaves like a small SUV which is handy on some of our roads. No complaints at all.

If you invite a group of people who are already committed EV users (one of whom actually works in the business!) then you'll get the response you're angling for. It would make far more sense to invite long-term ICE users.

It's not raining on you this time either unlike your Barcelona trip for the Mini.
@richardgledhill7 ай бұрын
Oh, believe me, it was. It rained ALL day. That's why we had to move the car into the barn, which wasn't planned!

is it GOOD? is it WORTH IT????? Does the maintenance for it costs WAY less than a normal traditional car?? YES OR NOT Honest reply? 👁️👃👁️🙏

The white part of the dashboard is not the smartest. It looks good but most likely will reflect in the windscreen and it will blind you.
@davidspencer72547 ай бұрын
Yeah, because you get blinded by white matt dashboards. 😂😂

Do none of these people care what the car drives like ? What the suspension is like over city potholes and speed humps, or what the braking and steering is like ? No, so long as you can get it in blue apparently.

Plenty of 1 year old EV commuter cars for this price. All of which are much better. If you are desperate for the cheapest new EV on the market then go for it. Personally I'd either stretch my budget a bit further for an E corsa or elctric 208 or go for a year old one.

I want my next EV interior to made with rare alligator skin and the dashboard covered in polar bear fur..

Good job Dacia - this is what EVs should be. It's very interesting that people have an obsession with range and yet one of your panel is happily living with an older EV with less range than the Dacia. Just shows it's really not as important as people think it is. I suspect the Dacia will suit a lot of people very well.

I’ve been judging your outfit, because it’s lovely. Sorry. This car looks ace, but I’d rather have the Mazda.

No mention of the Spring's crash test result?
@ziggarillo7 ай бұрын
I think you mean EuroNCAP, which isn't actually a crash test.

It won't be allowed to be sold here if the car doesn't meet safety standards. In other words you can guarantee it will be safer than a new car you could buy 10 years ago.

Any fashion criticism from me should be taken as a compliment🙂

How as an EV specialist do you neglect to not review battery life issues. The spring has no battery temperature control system ie cooling (other then air ventilation) or heating for it's batteries. So battery life expectancy is less then 100K miles like Leaf, Zoe, Ion etc. As journalist you should informed so you can inform us.

Range and charging speed are lacking, I could accept the range if it didn't have slower DC charging than cars from nine years ago!

Why didn't you select an ICE owner.
@MrAdopado6 ай бұрын
Because all they would say is that it doesn't have enough range! These people understand the range issue so can make relevant comments about its suitability for daily use. It would be like asking someone who has never owned a smart phone to judge the latest budget end Samsung as to its functions and value for money.

This is a miracle! You found four random (?) people and not even one of them has even the slightest word of criticism. Oh no....mistaking. The Volvo owner did found some hard plastic, and that's it. Truly.... A miracle. We witness a devine intervention 😅. An act of God.
@richardgledhill7 ай бұрын
Amazing how you can say that, not knowing any of us, or being there, or having seen the car. Truly your words are an act of God - such wisdom without any knowledge.
