Dont combo until 4 life, unless you are dealing with a crit. (if its a crit leader try to block all of their attacks with a blocker or take the hit like a champ) Double strike green broly when they hit 5 life, takes them to 3 and forces them down to 2 life because of their leader effect Dont attack with every card you have, usually only attack with leaders at the start of the game to draw and get more options. Only attack with battlecards if its beneficial to you or its a crit. Always attack with crit. Dont give your opponent extra cards! Unless if you attack into them and you draw too. Save your boss monsters. You charged your goku ssb you could have closed the game out better if you had that card. Prepare for other boss monsters. Always assume the worst, assume your opponent has a boss monster and prepare accordingly. They have a broly 8 drop? Drop 2 blockers, or make sure you have enough combo power to stop attacks. Dropping 2 blockers is better than one because the broly chooses a card on the field they want to destroy Never tap out of energy in the late game. Energy is everything, and there are some good extra cards for all colors, red has the kamehameha which is basically a supercombo. As a crit leader try your best to get to 4 life quickly, so you can start drawing. Unless you have a specific gameplan and you want to stay on your crit side (goku black, pilaf shenanigans) Usually you want to manage your opponents field before you actually start attacking their leaders. Board state is very important in this game and letting your opponent overwhelm you with battlecards is never a good thing. So try your hardest to attack those cards. If theres a battlecard on the field and you are a draw leader, attack those battle cards. To wrap this up. Hand size is the most important in this game, especially late game. Board state is also very important, always get rid of your opponets cards when you can. Theres some fun advanced sequencing tips but this should help for now.

You really shouldn't combo against crit cards too much either, it's not worth burning more than one card at most to protect a life from crit damage, unless you're super low already. Whether you burn a card in hand or eat the crit, you're losing a card either way. You may as well minimize losses.

If they have all of their pieces and staple cards its going to be incredibly hard to beat one. The best way out of the starter decks is probably red, because it has really good field destruction

For being a Red Player I found a trick. Crit-Chip damage. I know it sounds silly but that’s how I’ve been able to beat a few Green Players by attacking only with Crit fighters and using abilities to weaken their cards. It makes for a long game but even when they play LvL8 Broly I’ve still been able to win a few games like that. Hope this helps

Against green specifically, you want to aim for either boardstate control or beatdown strats - either minimize the value of their big plays as much as possible or kill them before they can make those big plays in the first place. Crit works too, but it's not super reliable, especially against Broly (Broly's backside is a 25k, which means you either need high cost cards or you need to burn cards in hand to deal the damage, which negates the usefulness of crits in the first place).

rhyme for a beerus deck, your most important type of cards are the ones that let you draw from your life. It lets you awaken super early and avoid crits taking away your cards, as well as getting the draw passive for beerus because without it in a red deck, youre going to be at a card disadvantage. The best way to beat brolys and gohans that ive found is just be hyper offense, awaken as fast as possible, and only hit them with crits to avoid them getting cards. as for energy management, once you awaken you can start chargin the life drawing cards as you wont need them anymore. Another thing when you awaken is that since you lose the crit passive, only swing on battle cards with your leader. You can do things like use beerus passive to get a 30k down to 20k, threaten with a normal leader attack to draw a card, and if they protect it, then you use maybe a goku blue to destroy cards that are 20k or under. if they let it die then maybe you use that energy elsewhere. beerus deck is my personal favorite because of his hakai passive its a lot of fun to play

It is if you can manage it correctly, what blue deck specializes in as opposed to other decks is holding 7 or less cards on hand, and Goku Black being a critical leader (Critical is an effect where if you attack the opponents leader and it lands, they don’t get to draw a card from their life and it just gets destroyed instead), you want him to awaken as fast as possible because of the fact that since he has critical and a base of 20000 power, he doesn’t get Draw when attacking, when you awaken he does, which is kind of how every critical leader works, like Rhyme using Beerus, Beerus is a critical leader and doesn’t get much card support until he awakens. As opposed to green where they have all the support in the world and there’s very little ways you can deal with it unless you blitz them early on, which Goku black can do, but you have to awaken AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BEFORE THE GREEN OPPONENT CAN BUILD THEIR ENERGY, once they have 6 or more energy, it’s done.

What green does is they have big high energy cost, high damage cards and a lot of support that can build their energy in like 4 or something turns and it’s so bullshit. They have the only Big 3 in the game so far, being Starter DBS Broly, the Cost 6 Android 17/18, and SCR Kamehameha Gohan. Broly on play destroys any card on the field, and can attack twice if you want him to, otherwise you can keep him on active (active battle cards cannot be targeted for certain effects or battle.) Androids on play can destroy 2 cards that cost 3 energy or less (pretty much every deck has staple cards that cost 3 or less, like yellow and blue), they also have Double Strike, which means they deal 2 life points of damage in one attack, Broly doesn’t do this, he just attacks once then he switches back to active per his effect and you can choose to attack again. SCR Gohan on play only, discard one card, destroy any opponent cards on the field with cost 5 or less (the reason this is so broken against any other deck is because all of them only have cost 5 or lower cards, you wipe their field in one go) in exchange for not being to attack in the turn, I have no clue why they didn’t just make it so that he goes into rest mode after this just so you can punish them, he stays in active and you can’t target him for really anything, the only deck with cards that punish active mode cards is yellow and there’s very little that you can do about it even at that. On top of these cards you have A BUNCH OF SUPPORT TO BRING THEM ONTO THE FIELD AND BUILD UP ENERGY TO THE DAMN MOON IN LIKE 5 TURNS

Yes I play green, but the androids are just so fun man 😭 Also as a tip with Beerus, you usually want to awaken as fast as possible, because when you attack you don't draw on the unawakened side. You want to awaken to start getting that card advantage by attacking as fast as possible, which is usually the case with every other critical leader. Think of your hand as your life, your actual life doesn't matter until the last hit.

That's not necessarily true; using the crit on your leader is also quite important, at least with Beerus because he actually has cards that maximize his crit output. Ideally, you want to focus on chipping away at the opponent with it and other crit cards so that when they lose life they don't get those cards to their hand. That does depend on how your deck is built, of course, but in my experience Beerus decks don't actually care too much about awakening until they're ready to flip to board control. Also, while yeah you should absolutely eat a shit-ton of hits in the early game, the last few lives are definitely still important. You cannot play with the mentality of "oh it doesn't matter until I'm on my last one" because there are so many cards that completely outpace your leader in terms of stats and double strike exists. Ideally you wanna start playing defensively at around 3 or so life, in order to avoid eating a huge hit then getting doublestriked to death.

A little tip about the colors in dbz card game fusion world is the over all strategies each color plays Red=offense:their strategy is to either boost your battle cards power or decrease your opponents battle card power to get in a bunch of attacks Blue=hand control: most cards in the blue category will say you need 7 or less cards to activate their effects so they will help add cards to your hand or get rid of cards in your hand to activate their effects Green=ramp:their strategy includes getting cards into the charge zone and using cards in the charge zone to help out get boss cards on the field Yellow=field control:their strategy sees specific cards on the field change position to mix up your opponents and help add cards to your field to overwhelm your opponent with smaller cards.

@Rhymestyle Love you bro. As a fellow frieza fan let me attempt to explain ginyu deck. Basically on turn 3 you wanna play recoome who will let you play another ginyu force or frieza, if you have 3 ginyu or frieza you get 2 energy back. After that you ideally wanna play the 2 cost frieza and just rush your opponent down. I also tech the 2 cost burter to give recoome more targets and the 1 cost ginyu option as its basically pot of greed. but yeah you just wanna spam units and be aggressive as possible. This is strat is FREE against green

That same bug happened against me Rhyme when the blocker attacked you. But one thing to keep in mind in this game is awakening faster is better. For better hand management I would suggest not using any combos until your around 4 life. Awakening is one of the best things in this game and the faster you get there generally speaking the better. Especially for leaders with no draw on their front side.

A trick I use in red decks is I lower the enemy cards attack as much as possible cuz if you lower the card’s attack to zero it just dies. Oh and also try attacking with your leader if they draw a card when attacking. Make sure to use Beerus’ skill whenever you can!

Watching the first duel, you should’ve stacked Beerus’ skill and the Goku you summoned on his level 7 Gohan, then he would’ve had to sacrifice resources to keep it.

From my own experience, (I'm also new) it seems better to play around 4-3, try really hard not to go to 2 because everyone usually has a Double Strike by that point, and just never go to 1. But 1 thing I've heard a more experienced player say all the time is that your "Life" isn't exactly your HP it's more that your hand is, as in as long as you have enough cards in hand you'll never have to take a hit in the first place and you'll have more options. Also one thing about Green is you just have to charge them down as fast as possible before they ramp into their late game cards.

I run a beerus deck as well as a Broly deck at the moment, and I find that our best chance against a green deck is to spam crits, keep their resources as low as possible. If you can go second it is PAINFULLY advantageous as you get the chance to effectively erase their first turn, and then deal a crit with your leader.

Rhyme, card advantage is your lifeline in Fusion World. When you play critical leaders like Beerus, Goku Black, or Cooler, you want to awaken as fast as possible because they dont draw cards when attacking until they awaken. In your situation, you dont necessarily need to combo until you awaken. Ofc not every situation is the same, but it's just a general resource management tip.

Against Broly you kind of want to rush sure they can build up energy but all of their good cards are really high costed and they need time to build up. Even if they awaken before it may become harder to hit but broly’s awakened side only draws by giving up an Energy so it actually slows down either their draws or energy gain.

Hand control is the most important part of the game TBH. Honestly I would suggest trying out Blue Vegeta, there's a lot to learn about sequencing actions to where you can get off your 7 or less condition effects and then still end the turn with 9+ cards in hand. It's also pretty favorable vs Green since it can really pressure them before they get their ramp ready. Plus from what I've seen a lot of people are still learning to play so it's not too bad.

As an experienced DBS player, the best advice I can give you is practice a lot and grow your collection! It's super on the nose but this is a game you figure out by doing the reps. And it's a game where if your opponent has a completed deck, it will feel unwinnable if your deck isn't optimized

There’s a red starter critical Gohan, with 25k power that causes disruption against other decks, including green bc it reduces an opponent’s battle card by 10k whenever Gohan attacks. It can help keep opponent’s board under control and they have to waste resources to get rid of it. If mine survives a turn, I swing with Gohan, drop something by 10k, then drop the double strike goku and minus opponent’s battle card another 20k; -30k usually can wipe something out or make it easier to get rid of.

I've only used Beerus and Frieza decks but if I was to guess, Beerus is probably the best non-green counter to green decks. That ability to lower power regardless of whether they're in rest mode is so good since it bypasses any attempt to save them from being attacked. Saved my butt a couple of times honestly. The Frieza deck works wonders on taking out low cost cards on rest mode and keeping your cards active but you need to rely on Golden Frieza to lock down higher ones. In that case, you need to pray to Kami that they don't have the extra cards that can eliminate you even in active mode. Then you're actually just screwed.

Hey rhyme, High silver yellow deck player here, while green is a very strong deck it requires a lot of resource pooling and doesn't benefit much from transforming, so the way I usually deal with green decks is forcing them to use resources early so i can do an end game push before they hit that 7-9 ideal energy range. If you are interested in using yellow it's main focus is gathering cards ideally your first 3 turns are just spent using draw cards so you can have your end game push early as well as out resource your opponent throughout! TLDR: in yugioh terms green is a stall/resource gather deck, yellow is a draw/mill deck, red is an aggro/destroy deck, and blue is a combo/negate deck

@@FireTheVideos Drawing and discarding isn't milling, its drawing and discarding, those are two completely separate things. Yellow's extras that rest cards aren't really negating either; they aren't stopping an attack in progress and they aren't preventing cards from hitting the field. By that logic, you're "negating" attacks whenever you destroy your opponent's cards. On top of all of this, I'm not the one that said BLUE has the supposed negates, and YELLOW has the supposed mill, using examples that don't belong to those colors. Blue doesn't have negates, yellow doesn't have mill. You're trying to fit characteristics that don't apply to the colors as a whole or even as a part, and a number of the characteristics you've listed don't even exist in the game as of yet. The only things you're even remotely right on is green being all about resource gathering and having SOME stall cards (they don't really "stall" to get where they are, they get their best cards off around the same time everyone else does, they have a single card that helps them stall out that the other colors don't have access to) and red often but not always being aggro (red has SOME destruction, but nowhere near as much as green). Yellow does have the ginyu frog for draws, but otherwise they don't have anything that helps facilitate draws that the other colors don't. Red isn't the "destruction" deck, they don't have any more destruction cards than yellow. That honor goes to green. Blue doesn't have negates (those don't exist) and actual combos aren't really a thing yet; if they were, yellow would be the combo deck since it's actually capable of cheating cards out without relying on one singular card (2 drop Frieza cheats out 1 drops, Recoome cheats out the rest of the Ginyu force, Mecha Frieza cheats out Cold, Metal Cooler cheats out copies of itself on death, blue literally only has Goku Black to cheat cards). Blue's main focus is on bouncing cards and maintaining boardstate control.

For beerus the deck is built to be a control deck and as a crit leader you dont want to stay on the front too long you just loose from not having cards in hand and try time skip in the deck it kills the 8 broly for 3 with your leader effect.

I think you are looking at this game like Yu-Gi-Oh, focusing on building a board and playing around what is on deck, maximising plays per turn. Essentilay setting your board up to play for you on both turns. This game is part of a "Anime" card game archtype that is more about building towards an end game push and having better resource management than you openent. Green just does this way easier than they other colours.Focus on starving green of resources by not allowing them to awaken before you. In this type of game, you need to maintain hand advantage.

I am recommending you to awaken as fast as you can as a red player Because you want to be as aggressive as you can and the awaken mode really really thats why you should consider to use more cards that allows you to take cards from your life

14:00 the better play would be to save the tien blocker for gohan and instead use the tien you just drew and adolescent gohan or frost to block the broly (4) attack. that way you had wayyy more resources to then attack the Broly leader card and win the game.

Should have used the blocker against the 50k Gohan and either taken the 30k or combo off to defend Instead you used basically your whole hand to defend the 50k attack 😅

8:11 there are many options for red players (not as many as green players have of course) however the strength of red players is your life cards, you want to get to 4 life by the time you lower the opponents like to 5 or if they have a Turles or a Critical card then by 6 as getting those life cards in your hand are important. You almost always want to play as many 17's as possible unless your opponent is also a red card (reason being beerus deletes them), I don't know how to word it through text so that's all I can give ya, good luck!

Hey Rhyme, replace UI Goku from the Beerus deck. I have a hard time winning but I played better without it. UI Goku works better with U7 Red Goku leader. This is just my suggestion. I have been playtesting other decks and did play Master game. Just a feedback!

I chose green as my starter deck and I deeply regret it because I barely got any green cards from the 1000 crystals I've spent and my dumbass cannot understand how to make this deck work, i wish i had gotten the red starter because it looks so much more fun to play

Against green you really want to be as aggressive as possible. If theyre awakening early then theyre probably in a bad spot. Keep up the pressure and you can win.

Against broly you want to be super aggressive and constantly pressure with attacks, also hitting a double strike when he is at 5 is ideal he will go down to three then to 2 once he awakens then you are one double strike away from winning

ramp in any card game is hard to deal with and since i dont know the rules of the games and dont know the specializations of each color the best i can say is hit them hard and fast before their ramp means anything wish i could give advice.

5:13 the reason broly has 25000 is because he loses a life card when he transforms unlike beerus, android 17, gohan, goku, etc.
