Mic got messed up in the recording, but wasn't too bad, so I'll keep the video up. For those wondering why I am not using yoke, it's because it's now a t17 drop so the price is going to be unknown. Also +lvls is generally just worse then flat ele rolls on a bow, so for those suggesting it, it's just not worth it.

Na it works, it's just 100% of effectiveness of added damage. The old ele hit works the same way, even though it doesn't show it as well.

my ele hit build this league had a t1 crit t1 as veiled double damage while focused and ele pen crafted, was by far the best option there. Only way to improve was to get like +1 level all gems and +2 socketd bow gems, but that would make it way more expensive

I am pretty sure new elehit will be better, even with less AOE. Piscaror is insanely good for the early/mid game and abolity to use herald of ice help with AOE aswell. Nice video tho! :)

How does this work with Interrogation? So basically you lose the 49% chance to deal base elemental ailment and trade for 10-15% crit? Does it seem worth it?

you gain access to 3 more ailments. you then use skitterbots to get chill/shock still thats 5 ailments for the flavour text on top of all the benefits from the 3 alt ailments. so that 15% more is now 5x instead of the base 3x you then also get crit from brittle, a reduced damage taken from sapped and a -30 monster resist which is more damage from scorched. so overall its just an amazing upgrade

+2 is worse then a flat ele roll, it would be about 120~ average flat ele vs 280~ average flat ele (t1 roll).

I think the real potential is in a +levels double corrupted helmet like the tempest binding on the cheap end, or a crafted +2 aoe gem unveil with shaper hypothermia and something else like attack crit (but probably not with brittle) then hoping for +relevant gems on the corruption. Essence more elemental damage is a thing too. Hypothermia and essence more elemental with a +2/+4 gem corruption and a +2 aoe unveil would be pretty nice. You could also get +aoe and projectile corruptions on gloves, but helmet has fire/cold/lightning. Essence have crit strike chance, and more speed. Then there's also double corruptions on body armor, but +aoe +projectiles are probably expensive. The rolls on bows are much higher, and don't forget you can use wands too.

+3 gem levels (+4 with Empower) and 16% penetration is comparable to max rolled triple T3. If you don't have the budget to craft triple T2+, go with gem levels (and just normal EH tbh).

i'll plan to get to yoke as fast as possible. It looks really good mit ele hit and with puncture + poison on hit outdamages ashes on the normal ele hit. The new one should be even better.

New Yoke (10%) doesn't outdmg Ashes, unless you don't use alt. ailments (5) or Sniper's Mark with Focal Point.

this is just for legion map blasting, the uptime is pretty good with warlocks mark. but you can also just slot this into the regular setup and you can see it's a lot more dmg.

I have manaforged to a 2nd ele hit to CoC to warlords mark. CoC won't just trigger on any crit in the build, only the attack skill it's physically linked to. I doubt you have coc warlord in your main attack setup

I am confused why you go for tri-ele bow instead of +3 bow and scale gem levels with additional +2 amulet and etc... You can even push it further by instead going for 4 link helmet and get +6 in there or smth. (+4 corruption +2 proj vail prefix with a simple Shaper/Elder helmet and Essence.)

At level 20 the gem has roughly the equivalent of T2 flat damage rolls. The +3 would have to literally double the damage of the gem for it to be better than a tri ele bow, and gems generally only gain ~10% damage per gem level over 20

@@Zaykahb Don't compare 3xT1 Ele bow with just +3 gem level. Compare 3xT1 Ele bow with +3 +1T1 Ele Row bow. It's 2 mods vs 3 mods otherwise. And that's assuming you can craft triple T1 Ele bow easily.

That means we can assume that a single T2 mod is equivalent to 33% of the damage of the lvl 20 gem. Considering that +3 levels requires 2 prefixes and only grants ~30% more damage, I don't think it's even close

this is a common misconception, unless you get really high +gem lvls (28-30) then it's just worse then a triple ele bow. You can look at the old ele hit numbers and see that a +3 is worse then a standard triple ele bow for the new transfigure elemental hit. Although yes, you probably would want +lvls on your other pieces of gear, this is something I just quickly threw together just to show it's a better LA.

Edit, also does yoke even work with skitterbots? Wording on yoke seems pretty clear that u need to apply ailments. I know if u dont use selfcast way to inflict ailment it dosent work at all. From wiki: The Skitterbots' Chilling and Shocking Auras are a property of the Skitterbot minions, not the player. So its 99% a no. you can literally check it in pob, hyrris is way cheaper/common, solves accuracy at the same time and provides (in theory assuming u fix accuracy) similar dps, yoke is better if u add around 1200 flat accuracy somewhere - 8.7kk dps vs 10kk dps. U dont have points to get accuracy on the tree really and 4 points for nodes + mastery would bring u on similar dps (because u still wont get close to 100% hit), u dont have gem slots/mana to run precision either (if u dont want to automate other skills u get gem slot, but with annoint and precision 20 still leaves u only on 94% hit chance, same dps as hyrri and ur unreserved mana is 20 which is too tight for manaforged setup and IC wont work at all). Accuracy on gear is suffix so its no go either. Plus hyrris not conditional, as soon as skitterbots are not in range yoke is worse. And how would u get poison/bleed when you only deal ele damage? Ele hit cant deal non ele damage. You dont have tincture to get poison from ele, bleed requires physical damage too. Not to mention 'bleed and poison chance somewhere' where build is already stretched to maximum gear and tree wise.

So TLDR: Skitterbots wont work with Yoke. U wont get poisons or bleed with ele hit because it cant deal non ele damage. Even if skitterbots worked it wouldnt be strictly superior to hyrri as you would need to fix accuracy/mana.

yeah you're correct, I think the fix for this is using a 20% inc aoe bow cluster or taking inc aoe on a bow mastery, because even with those changes, you'll still be way more dmg then a LA build.

If you do conversion (all to fire conversion example) then definitely you need + levels, because cold, lightning converts to fire (50% avatar of fire) and adds top of fire damage But if you don't convert then ele bow better, but still we still don't know the numbers with gem levels, if we hit all 3 at the same time we might need gems levels still. Prolly end-game would be physical bow tho. since it has 100% conversion to all 3
