The new era of Lotus is here, but do I like it?! First drive in the Eletre!

People (including me) questioned whether the Lotus Eletre was a proper Lotus, or if it was just like all the other EVs in the market. After spending a few days driving the 600bhp version around the UK, I found out this really is a new era for the brand, one that felt weird at first, but refreshing at the same time.
It's a long car that balances luxury and sporty well. The only real negative for me was some of the tech including the key card on entry.
Lotus have dipped their toes in the EV market in style, and the Eletre is a brilliant sign of what's to come for the British brand.
