Don’t be fooled by the low-budget-aesthetic. These boys are real deal multimillionaire independent artists. Kings of the underground and have a platinum record from their mixtape a few years back. Ruby and Scrim channel the darkness of 90’s 3-6 mafia phonk with bone thugs and harmony flows. They’ve dipped into numerous subgenres in hip hop and have created a very complete and compelling style of their own. Highly recommend.

You are 100% right, the $B are from New Orleans! The first rapper was Scrim, 33yo, (who makes most, if not all, of the beats) and the second was Ruby da Cherry, 32yo. They are actually cousins and started making music in 2014! This song is from their newest album "Sing Me A Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation." Great album overall and I think you would like "1000 Blunts" , "In Constant Sorrow" , and "$uicideboy$ Were Better in 2015" from the album. The $B have soo much great music out there so I am excited to see you react to them! Personal favorites are "Antartica" , "O' Lord I have My Doubts" , and "All That Glitters Is Not Gold, But It's Still Damn Beautiful."

Started listening to Suicideboys 2 year ago and haven’t listened to anyone else since. They always know how to deliver and never disappoint, whether it be beats, lyrics, and flow. My personal favorites that I boast on sharing is “New Chains, Same Shackles”, “For the last time”, “O Pana!”, “My closet is a graveyard” and “All that glitters is not gold, but it’s still damn beautiful”. I’ll even throw in 2 more songs because 5 isn’t enough tbh lol. “Low key” and “I miss my dead friends” are also great songs. I hope you guys and anyone who reads this enjoys these songs as much as I do, love y’all

Glad you caught onto their "throwback" sound. That's exactly what got me hooked on them. I grew up on Memphis underground rap and that is a HUGE part of their influence. They have a ton of songs with samples from A LOT of older Three 6 Mafia and Project Pat songs, along with other underground Memphis legends from that 90's era.

There is this one guy with the deeper, more demonic type of voice called Scrim and the other guy with the longer hairs and the brighter, more melodic voice who likes to spit fast called Ruby. As their name maybe doesnt tell you, they have helped so many people with their music, similar to Juice wrld cause they be so open about stuff like struggles, anxiety, addiction,…and situations they been through. The mcdonalds part is taking a dig at mcdonalds putting frames of their commercials in random shows as propaganda, there are some shows in tv that have shown one frame of mcdonalds, and it has happened multiple times. So people are theorizing that by putting frames of mcdonalds when you're watching a show they're tring to brainwash you into craving it without even realizing it.
