You can put the Hood in Service Mode, which is fully vertical by pressing a little button on drivers side hinge and the hood will move all the way up. ALL Mercedes have this option. Even back in the late 60's. This one has to have it as well.

I can't remember if you said but PM 2.5 on air quality just means particulate matter smaller than 2.5 microns, which is just the right size to get into your bloodstream or lodge in your lungs forever. Anyway it comes from car exhaust mainly. These are the kinds of things that vex the minds of (non-smoking) automotive engineers.

Love your review, Sarah! Entertaining yet thorough. The car is a great technical achievement but it feels so much like the wrong route to performance. I hope manufacturers will find a way to bring down the weight of EVs in the near future as this feels like a huge waste of energy and resources.

Great review Sarah. It's not a car I would buy & I doubt it'll ever be sold in Australia. I have to say you were in depth with the review finding all the little quirks of the AMG that otherwise viewers wouldn't see. I expect all the tech that's on this will be in EV's in about 5-8 years. I thought you were taking the AMG to a cocktail party with the way you were dressed.

Ever consider using a profile shot from a camera mounted to the passenger window for the acceleration and breaking tests? It might give a better sense of the fore and aft motion as you speed up and slow down.

Three-Quarter shots, where there's a camera on the dash on the opposite side are common, usually so part of the vision has a little front windscreen in frame, and the middle third of the frame gets the vision outside the window beyond the hands and wheel.
