I can understand you there - but there’s a reason the paid version exists. If you want free subtitles, then you gotta give capcut a shot but you‘ll limit yourself more with that NLE than your doing good with it

Thank you brother! Hell yeah, the've been pushing hard on this I guess! :D But it's probably only my third favorite feature from this update so far! I like the "real" transcribe tool so much and the relight effect in fusion is just nuts! Will definitely bring a couple tutorials on them as well, once I dinged a little deeper! Wow, this is impressive! I like how Davinci resolve always strives to make editing less tedious. This can already save hours on working with subtitles. Also, it makes sense that it's limited to the studio version as with their AI-powered features. It's just another reason to buy the studio version. This feature has so much potential!

I like that they're adding new features but it doesn't work good enough - timings are off, sometimes it halucinates and for some parts of the video it just ain't gonna generate subtitles.

Hey! Yeah, I‘ve noticed the timing issue as well but we have to keep in mind, it is a beta version and as we know, BMD will not rest on this, as always they are working hard to improve their stuff so I guess it will get better over time for sure!:)
