While I agree that it sucks having a V6 instead of a V12 sucks, don’t forget the AMG One exists as another V6 hypercar priced at $5 million, more than this new Ferrari at only $3.9 million. Can’t wait for the ZR1 tho, that thing is insane.

I completely disagree with your take on the design of the car (f80)I think it looks better than the LaFerrari. Flavio Manzoni designed the F80 and the LaFerrari as well. The F80 has hints of the 365 gtb/4 Daytona, the f40, sp3 etc... I think the issue with Ferrari may be with the CEO Benedetto Vigna who prefers electric toasters. They could have put a v8 instead of a v6 and solved everything but they prefer numbers more, to be the fastest around a track so they just took something that already achieved that FERRARI 499P. Another stupid thing Ferrari gave the green light to do was create the Purosangue, again I think its Benedetto Vigna looking at LAMBO and other fast SUV'S. You do make a good point about the ZR1.

Fair point. I’m just a huge fan of consistent colors and sharp body lines with smooth swoops, and that’s usually what you get from Ferrari. The F80, to me, is too futuristic. Especially with the black bar in the middle…

It's crazy to think Ferrari made 2.5 liter V12s in the 60s yet they need to go down to a V6 to reduce displacement. So far as styling, the F80 and LaFerrari were borne of different eras and sensibilities so I think it's unfair to compare the two. The LaFerrari was a mix of insectoid cues crossed with the shape of solar powered racercars that were all the rage in 2010. It's surface treatment was tight and shrinkwrapped because body hugging british cut suits were the height of sartorial elegance then. The F80 by contrast is one of those roomy wide shouldered yuppie suits popular in the 80's. It's more overt in wanting to look futuristic. It succeeds. It looks like one of the cars in George Lucas' THX 1138.
