Check out Opera 2 by Dimash. He was 22 years old when he did it on a Chinese talent show. The looks on the faces of those who had to go after him was priceless. He will be 30 in May and has only gotten better and better. He does a song in Japanese called Ikanaide in the studio due to covid lock downs. The song was performed for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. If you watch you can see how he moves to and away from the mic depending on how much power he is fixing to unleash. He is the most talented artist I have ever seen. I have followed him since 2017. Flew to New York in 2019 for his sold out concert at the Barclays. Absolutely incredible.

Freddie was Great, and when you consider that he achieved all that he did and with no formal vocal training; all self taught - Even Greater! But he's not Dimash. But you're right. A lot of Freddie Fans would be very appreciative of what Dimash is doing and how he's exploring also across a lot of styles and genres. From operatic, to rock ballad, to jazz & blues and pop etc. Even bts of rap and metal! And both have incredible stage presence, are fantastic showmen! 😊👋

Olympico will show off his vocal range !!! This was the first song he sang in the I am Singer contest. Not this video, I love this song, he gets so emotional with his songs. So angelic.

He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. Please react to Olimpico or also Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. (d'un Terrien en Détresse)" is originally from a French-Canadian musical called 'Starmania' from the 1970s and is considered one of the most difficult French songs to perform. As you probably already know, this performance was from a 90-minute digital show/concert streamed on Jan 31, 2021. A popular Russian composer, Igor Krutoy works with him, and composed “Olympico,” with Dimash in mind. Dimash has sung for the Kremlin. China loves Dimash, just many all over the world. He has a concert in May in Budapest. He had a concert in New York, that sold out quickly. He is versatile and has a bluesy, Jazzy rock song, with a new music video out, it’s called, “When I’ve Got You!” He also sang a duet with Placido Domingo in January 2024, and it is on KZbin.

Yeah SoS is the usual intro to Dimash (usually the 2017 one from The Singer Chinese competition or the Slavic Bazaar performance from 2018... on this one he is a little tired having already sung for a couple of hours... his concerts are 2.5 to 3 hours long) Freddie had a 3 octave range around F2 to G#5 but live he usually sang around 2 and a bit (Roger Taylor did the really high notes) Dimash has hit as low as A5 phonically and vocal fry below that... to (again phonically) G#7 and his crazy whistle D8 recorded live and the only live performance of this note (I have seen claims showing people doing this in a studio but that ain't the same animal... I mean you could easily make a video showing Geoff Castellucci sing D8 with studio tricks) anyway the best is yet to come for you as far as Dimash goes (Ave Maria vocalise is one of the truly outstanding pieces especially that high C onset at the end... mind boggling difficult to anyone who actually knows voice)

Thank you so much for reacting to my favourite singer. Dimash is amazing isn't he? But what is happening to your videos? They are constantly glitching. In Ave Maria Dimash sounded like he has the hiccups and in this one Dimash kept blurring and getting muffled. It makes it very difficult to watch and not very enjoyable. Do you know what the problem might be? If you can fix it it would make it so much better.

I''ll let you off though from a little indiscretion Lol. Actually Dimash returned twice to the Singer comp, each time as a special Guest 2018 and 2019. The latter being as the guest to the Super Vocal Boys who were contestants and had to invite a guest to duet with, Dimash had been a judge on a talent show called 'Super vocal' where the Super Vocal boys participated and the year after they were invited to compete on the Singer 2019 and invited Dimash as their partner for duet week. They performed a medley of Queen songs, arranged by Dimash and his friend and arranger Erlan Bechurin and it was brilliant. Good reaction, but sound was not good. He has many, many more for u to get to, so, please, do not go directly to latest. You will miss so much. Everybody has suggestions of their favorites, i have many too, but imo, you should go to The Singer competition in China, 2017, first, and watch of it, including the backstories and you will be amazed at how good he was then, at 22. It will only get better and you can see his progress over the years. He now sings in 16 languages, plays multiple instruments, composes, music, acts in his own MV's, directs, and was a model and martial arts expert. PS, he uses authentic instruments, like the Dombra and Kobyz, which are Turkic, not Turkish, or Arabic, in origin. His songs in Qazaq are beautiful and important to him. He is very proud of, and loves, his country and ancestors, his extended family and his fans, called Dears.
