Love the design of this. I personally loved how the design was evolved to make it look newer while also retaining its original design elements. Really awesome effort from Infiniti. And remember, it takes time for a brand like Infiniti to get a reinvent itself, as making a product takes several years. The wait times may be long, but it will be worth it in the end.

Got damn! A 3.5 twin turbo V6 at 450hp/516 lb-ft. Makes me wonder whether they will utilize that in the Z and make it the next iteration of NISMO bumped up to 550hp. Infiniti did indeed blow this out of the water. This is the type of engine they can put in sedans and bring back four door cars.

I really love Infiniti/Nissan’s new design language. Definitely a step up from what they’ve been offering for the past decade. A new sedan from Infinti would be fantastic they just need to come up with a 5-10 year product plan and stick to it, Nissan needs to give Infinti the investment it’s badly needed for 10-15 years, it may work it may not depends on how it’s executed and if Nissan can change the brand image of Infinti and boost it’s prestige. Currently Infiniti hasn’t been seen as prestigious which puts them in a difficult situation, in a dead “near luxury” segment of the market that Buick, Oldsmobile, mercury, and even Lincoln to an extent. Infinti has 2 options either up market or bit the dust, the only other near luxury brand left in the segment is Buick which is only being kept alive by china and their car market, if they weren’t successful over there Pontiac would still be around

Touch capacitive needs to go, AC physical controls and a real shifter needs to come back. Fake exhaust is weak very weak and a missed opportunity for excellent strength and style at the rear. No glossy black? Why.? Otherwise it looks great. A hybrid version is a must.

I think it's approaching Lexus and definitely beats Acura. Interiors have always been Infiniti's short coming and it looks like they are finally addressing that. They kept the liquid metal type exterior with clean body lines, but Infiniti has always had great exteriors, glad to see they have kept that trend going.

The new QX80 might just give the Lexus LX a run for its money. Like, this is such a huge step up from the previous gen. Of course, you expect this level of quality on the top Autograph trim and even then, this blows the top LX trim out of the water I would say. I'd even argue this looks a whole lot better than what the Germans are offering. I'm really looking forward to seeing these out on the road.

Why did they skimp out on the soft close doors and window shades? When they run this new model for 4 or 5 years then they will add it I bet to make a new feature on the vehicle so it can continue to sell. Other than that, the vehicle looks very refreshed for 2025. That’s because the current QX80 is literally way too similar to the current Armada on the inside and feature-wise. There was no good reason to get it because its basically an overpriced Armada. This new QX80 however, looks amazing. If they make the new Armada different enough compared to the QX80, then resale values for this new generation will actually be okay.

@@anydaynow01 I don’t like to hate on Nissan I love the older Nissans from the Datsun era all the way up til the end of the 90s, but once ghosn took over after Renault bailed out Nissan quality went downhill big time, the jatco cvt’s have left a serious stain on Nissan and even Subaru to a lesser extent, Nissan and Infiniti dealerships are hemorrhaging money, I work at an Infiniti store in the Chicago area and the service dept. alone loses 30k a month let alone the sales dept. with either owning the cars or floor planning them, they are heavily dependent on used cars which they cut corners with fixing which gives them a bad reputation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the rest of the brand looked the same way at all of their stores
