That’s a LOT of mowing!! You definitely had a few gremlins to fix on the 4 series, but nice tractor when they are running right!! We had a couple on the ranch for yard work and pulling the hay sweep etc. nice utility tractors. Kinda on the size where they are still small enough for acreage work but can do some much bigger jobs. Your 3 series was keeping up though. I switched over to using a flail mower! It’s able to do finish level cutting if you keep the blades out of the dirt & rocks. If they are sharp, the cut is pretty nice! I have the swing arm in it as well so I can get down to the water around the pond and nit get stuck or wet. It’s nice fir the ditchbanks we have on the roads here as well. They can be too steep without duals to mow so I do a pass from up top and a pass from the ditch bottom and get the banks. It works at home and a couple of the other properties we have, but the new (to us) cabin has a DEEP ditch. The tractor almost disappears when on the bottom so I just mow there so the water flows without snags and the top edge for appearances. It’s all that can be safely done. Doesn’t need to be done, but it sharpens up the place. The bears like the trail in the bottom of the ditch!! 😂😂 they stay out of site & aren’t shoulders deep in brush & grass! 😂😂. I even spoil the bears!!! Haha. If it means they keep moving along in the ditch & not on our land, that ok by me!!

Nice pick up. Just sold my old Ford 2600 tractor. Gonna miss it, but needed the money for the tax man. 🙁

I think he should upgrade on his tractor and buy a tractor with a cab. I don't know to me look like it can get pretty hot on his tractor in summer with no cab.

Cabs are nice until you have to make repairs. 4 weeks before my knee replacement, I had the top of tree come down on me. It wasn't pretty! I guess it could have been worse if I didn't have the cab.

Well I’ll tell you, the cables tractor is perfect for getting the edges at the farm, under trees etc, and I prefer it when I’m doing general work where I have to get on and off all the time, it’s just easier. But for a long day of brush hogging the cab is the way to go no doubt!

Yeah the price makes it worth it to us but we need people to buy new as well so we can have used ones available!
