I bought my very first Kindle Paperwhite at the beginning of November and I love it. I also experienced some ghosting too but it doesn't bother me at all. I'm so glad I finally bought one!!

I bought the Signature Paperwhite edition in metallic jade. It will be here Tuesday. I upgraded from the 11th gen paperwhite.

The agave green colour is soo pretty! Unfortunately Amazon only sold the boring black colour of the 11th gen paperwhite over here. Ngl, I was really hoping that this current (12th) gen was gonna have an agave green colour in the line up, and that Amazon would sell it here in Canada to.... Heck, for this new 12th gen, we don't even get the jade or raspberry paperwhite with ads, just black. For the signature edition there are two colour options - metallic black/raspberry. Assuming you can even find it in stock online or in store. (I know that the colour of the device doesn't mean much at the end of the day, but I just think it's fun having that pop of colour you know?) We always get short changed when it comes to "the Kindle experience" north of the border lol. Hope you end up enjoying the heck out of your new Kindle Toni! 💕Happy Thanksgiving!

Same rant! Amazon happily takes our money but offers us less! We don't get the same colors, we don't get the ability to use audible integration (unless that's changed with the new ones) we don't even have a Bluetooth button! We seem don't get an audio book for like 8 dollars to companion read when we purchase a book to read and we don't get the points towards a free book like in the US. Then Kindle wonders why we aren't one on their body markets and it's literally like "you didn't give me a new color or feature to make me want to upgrade!" It's bad how they treat other markets but I feel with Canada sharing the biggest land border that they can't hide that they have all these features in the US but not here.

I have the raspberry Paperwhite and I experienced ghosting as well. It was “fixed” by changing my setting to refresh with every page turn. This setting was not needed on my 11th generation Paperwhite, so I don’t know if it will drain the battery. Hope this helps. 😊

omg that JADE is GORGEOUS 😍 I mostly listen to audiobooks - so I got the kids paperwhite for those rare occasions I read ebooks 😅 but my goal is to READ more books in the new year, so hopefully it will get put to good use! My husband has an Oasis and I was hoping to get one this year but then they discontinued it, boooo. I'd love a video about Kindle Scribe and how you use it!

Cause I only read in Dark Mode but I noticed in your video that the auto-brightness option disappeared when your Kindle was in dark mode

I don't understand how ghosting or any of these issues occur.. Do they test only one or two of the products before releasing them? No one should be spending their hard-earned money on devices and have issues that should be simple for companies to ensure does not happen before manufacturing.

@ Exactly! I ordered a paperwhite signature and I’m excited but also worried mine will have this. Which will be extremely disappointing. But let’s hope software updates can actually fix this.
