I really love your personality. I don't know if you've ever watched Gilmore Girls, but I imagine that if Lorelai was 20, she would be just like you :) Which is the highest form of compliment from me as I'm addicted to that show :D And BTW I bought Kindle Scribe this Black Friday. So that I can have a Kindle for every use case. Now I have Oasis for reading in bed, Paperwhite for travel and Scribe for cozy evenings with book. No, I'm not addicted, I can stop whenever I want, I promise!

Thank you for reviewing all of them! And then returning them. I HATE not using tech that I buy! I am not a reader, and I love love love reality TV shows, and turns out I love ‘reality TV’ books that talk about people’s lives. My first book ever since college I am reading on my kindle is “I’m glad my mother died”. It’s so good.

That was a very informative and fun review! Thanks Eileen, you did a great job! I have several Kindles and Kobos so I definitely don't need another one, but I really like that green colour of the Basic! Yes, I am addicted! I think my favourite reader at the moment is the Kobo Clara colour. It's very light and seems about the size of the Kindle Basic.

I bought the kindle basic matcha last week. My Kobo Libra 2's battery's no longer cooperating after 2 years of using. I am for just reading, so I just love black and white.

I bought a Kindle last Black Friday...the one that bills itself as the smallest, lightest kindle available. The "size of a paperback." The ads don't bother me; however, the software is ridiculously choppy and laggy, which kills the experience for me. Lastly, I was surprised at how fast the battery drained. I just use my phone to read stuf.

It used to not have ads but unfortunately if you use it out of kids mode it does have ads now

@@eileens_behindthescenes I didn't know they changed that. Mine came with no ads a few years ago and has stayed ad free. Funny, because you still pay extra for the kids version. Oh well. 😒

I don’t use computers, but I like my kindle with warm light, no one likes blue light at night.

True, I prefer warm light at night but sometimes I forget to turn it on and just dim the display, hopefully it won’t ruin my eyes one day lol
