Thanks for the review! I think I'm still going to wait for a few batches before getting one. These things always have the tendency to have some issues after people start riding them. I'll just schlep around on my shermax for now (Yes, it's here and I put almost 500 miles on it over this past month or so!)

I think they definitely set the bar for suspension. The only real issue that you lightly touched on is the actual questionable assembly of the wheel. It may ride smooth out of the box, but time will tell how many issues will arise over time.

@@jashton8710 first of three heart surgeries slowed me down. The three way bypass made me listen to the cardiologist and let go of my Roadstar. The pacemaker left me riding a Honda Monkey, and the arterial angioplasty and stents in my legs prevent me from feeling the shifter and foot brake. So what’s a guy gonna do? The only logical thing is to get the biggest, badest scooter I can find! I am already showing for a Dualtron X Limited! Yippee Kay ohh!

The price is way too high! Nobody should buy this wheel for $4500 . $3500 max. They are taking advantage of us now . I paid $2900 hundred for my Master. I guarantee you would be just as happy with a Master! Not to mention 134 volts of power! Just imho!

I don't know if well known KZbinrs have any influence on EUC manufacturers but I hope that they can convince Leaperkim to make a smaller version of Sherman-S for riders that are less than 160 lbs. I am sure that there are a lot of riders under 160 lbs. weight. The lower weight of the rider can compensate with smaller battery. I really wish that there is a Sherman-S mini that weigh about 78-80 lbs.

I don’t think it has much to do with the rider weight. Sherman is a heavy wheel because of all the metal and of course people seem to want a large battery. Why are you concerned about having a heavy wheel?

I think it's because there isn't a lot of brand loyalty in the EUC market and there are already smaller options like the S18, T4, ECT.

It means it will be stable with lots of range and power. And it will handle like a larger wheel. It’s true that super heavy riders can’t ride low power wheels, that’s different. Anyway it sounds like you want a T4

URRR! You guys are killing me! Any clue what it's like to have an addiction issue? Hahahaha First time EUC owner. I've been riding my V10F from Eevees since mid June this year and have already logged over 3500km. I suffer from anxiety and the wheel is an amazing way to relax and escape. Until range anxiety sneaks up.... So now I'm trying to decide what wheel will solve my problem. Was thinking the Sherman until this release. I've never ridden a suspension wheel

Nice review, there are a lot of positives about the wheel but the weight is way too much for my purposes. I have a V11 and while I'm very happy with it I can't help but wonder if the S18 might have actually been better for how I use a wheel which is strictly commuting and work. (Yes I use my wheel for work)

S22 is near same weight. With ERides pedals and Shinko 244, it's an awesome wheel, a real nice upgrade from my V11

I take my sherman to work when it's not raining. Own a S22 but first ride I was on the floor first turn I took with a speed. Good god square tire is useless and I won't ride it again until I change the tire. The rear weight balance is also crap. I'm thinking about adding weight up front. But look at the sherman s having motorcycle fork style compared to dodgy slider and bolts in holes for pivot points suspension of S22. Haven't seen V13 yet but holy f the new sherman is looking top notch right now.

Did u see ppl mention the suspension sticks at points even after just a few hundred miles. I picked up an s22 b/c I cant justify the price is over 1500 dollar morefor this over the s22 that i paid $2600 brand new with the new engine. I love jumping and the king song fits my style esp since. Yes i know everyone is raving over the new Sherman … lets wait 7 month and see how the suspension is then. I dont want to jump with a 100pound wheel. Iwould think it will be a great longer range street or trail cruiser but lets hope the suspension lasts.

I didn't see people mention that. I saw Wrong Way mention that, after abusing the wheel. I also saw him post a story saying the Sherman S was the best wheel. There is no doubt the Sherman S is the best suspension on any wheel.

Worth every penny. You're missing out on innovation by having an arbitrarily set price cap. If you were around when cars cost $20k, it's easy to say I'd never pay $30k for a car. The world is a dynamic and changing place. Prices are only going to keep rising.

This thing does have 30% more battery than the Burn E 40ah. Also name brand suspension. I imagine that, plus the other upgrades to the control board, new motor / rim, account for most of the cost.

OG Sherman pedal dip was stupid and hard to understand. There is still pedal dip on the S but it's much more intuitive. I can understand why they did it.

Please export your finished videos to 3840x2160 4K, it don't matter what source footage is. 4K will give a much higher Mbps bitrate and provides 1440p etc also. Super helpful for avoiding the blocky compression of the low bitrate 1080p KZbin uses. Great video too, thanks!

1440p will look the same if the video is 1080p raw. I can up the bitrate in future 360 videos if you'd like. I personally can't tell the difference.

1080p blueray is 40mpbs vs YT 1080p at 12mpbs. Looks less good. I export 360 video from Insta360 Stuido at 200mpbs 4k. YT recommends 50-240mbps for max quality. Makes a big difference on a 75 inch TV or 125 inch projector screen

@@TechMan042 agree to disagree. The 360 camera can't film linear in anything higher than than that. You can export at 5k 120mbs but unless your video is showing the full 360degree fish eye view then you're wasting disk space.

Damn … V13 or Veteran Sherman S … I like the 2 hall sensors on the v13, but does the Sherman S have both a hall and sensorless to deal with cutoffs? Right now I’m all about safety and don’t care about speed … when I first got the Kaabo Wolf King GT I was all about pushing the speed; now I’m happy doing under 10 to 30-mph without any problems … no need to keep 40+ due to battery 🪫 discharging too quickly. Hence I’ll probably keep it under 20 when I get the v13 or Sherman S … which one? I want my one-wheel to have triple redundancy similar to some airplane components. I hate riding with the constant thought that I could be flat on my face at any second. I ride about 10-12 mph on the v5f.

Do you even PEV? Edit: these are for fun first not just transportation. buying most PEVs are the be same as buying a jetskis or ATVs. The thought of riding them to work or errands is secondary

Not many of us are using it as primary transportation although some do. A top of the line mountain bike or e bike will cost the same. They are toys for enthusiasts. As far as what it should cost for what you’re getting… the price isn’t bad really. This is a high end flagship big wheel.
