Thank god iblee ban and Jowgen ban. This Jowgen and iblee lock been abuse by voiceless voice and yubel like crazy. Also the Jowgeb ban denied stun deck used Jowgen as replacement after lost 2 copy of Dyna. Snake-eye fire king, is just a consistency hit and poplar officially become garnet, if your don want to include useless snake-eye monster birch in your deck, at least 1 copy. Your combo will be normal summon poplar, add OSS. Link Poplar to link kuriboh. Set poplar at spell and trap zone. Used OSS target poplar in spell and trap zone to SS Ash. Ash search birch, special summon Birch from hand and perform generic snake-eyes combo as usual.

Well, I got locked by Sanctifier Dragon into Ra's Disciple to my side of the field in DC. So now they will just all summon Ra's Disciple to your side of the field. They did the same fucking thing with Halqifibrax. Ban all the level 1 tuners instead of Halqifibrax.

The URs it uses are not useful in other decks (Crackdown, Morganite, Necrovalley, Luna, Solemns) unlike most staples like handtraps. A player that already has the staples that most decks uses will find trying to build a complete stun deck more expensive than something like Yubel and comparable to a deck like Voiceless Voice notorious for the amount of URs it needs

The thing is EEV is really bad in a bo1 when you don't know what your opponent is playing. It's also only good going first which makes it even worse for bo1 since you only have your main deck and also a little winmore since you need to be already in a spot where you have a big lab monster on board and are in a position where you can afford to tribute it for fully unknown value. Also currently you could just be looking at your opponents hand of like 5 monsters and trade very badly which is just not that great. I agree that it's a toxic card and in a bo3 format there are arguments for banning it but in bo1 it's a pretty bad card so it doesn't really matter that it's at 3 again

EEV is too high commitment, just putting it in your deck is a big commitment especially if you're playing it at 2 copies. It's toxic, but whatever it did pre banlist, it will do post banlist, so literally nothing.

I must have personally angered Konami for the Perlereino ban; Mannadium has 3 less one card starters now. Awesome. You have to open Riumheart/RotA, or two combo pieces to make your board now. Playing into boards and multiple hand traps is going to be incredibly inconsistent now. The deck is almost set back to before the second wave of support came out. Other than EEV to 3 (genuinely, ban that card), this list was good until I read the Perlereino ban.

People being disappointed that Sanctifire doesn't get banned is kinda odd because look what effect it has. Konami not wanting to ban Sanctifire leads into banning all of the Flood gates that this Card abused and stun Players abused. Which is a good thing and with that Sanctifire becomes a tech card to Special summon Albaz as a form of Disruption. Keeping Sanctifire alive really hurts stun and that is always good. I saw many comments of People complaining about Sanctifire because Konami doesn't want to ban it and refund 30 UR points to the players. Which with this ban list proves to not be true because the new ban list refunds 150 UR points and that might be one of the biggest ban list when it comes to refunding UR points..

Their unwillingness to ban Snow scares me. That card survived for so long. Tear would be in a healthy spot if not for cards like her, the shufflers and the occasional Baron they get for free. I was hoping for some ban that actually changed how the game is being played right now. Something to tune down the turn 1 wombo combos a bit would be a start. Maybe Apo would do it. This was an decent Banlist for the most part before Tenpai comes to the Game Next Wednesday Night, But 2 of My Deck were hit by This Banlist due to Iblee getting 🚫 Which are Bystial Dogmatika & Kashtira Dogmatika to prevent cards like Nibiru, Evenly, Lightning Storm & Etc but for the Game's health this had to go due to Yubel abusing it mostly which is unfortunate since there was a time that Spright abused this strategy alot way before Yubel got their support while everything else is safe for Me to still play other Decks I like as well as planning to build in Master Duel Hopefully, Konami will give Us more Deck Slots since I have all 35 of My already filled out but need more as well as More Staple Bundles in the future Personally, I want a Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion, Ghost Orge & Snow Rabbit, & Finally a Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill Staple Bundle plus some other Handtraps that Players are dying to get their hands on due to Me not having those cards but wanting everyone who don't have them to get that experience of using them💜💙🙌 Thank You Jesse Kotton for getting Tearlaments on Notice🫡☺️ Duelist Cup's Prestige is back after Konami ruining it the Last Time unfortunately but not This Time to make up for it

The tear hit makes me a bit upset but i'll live. the tear pile with snake eyes is a bit too degenerate, but like the actual problem is the snake eyes and maybe snow from the tear side. I just play pure tear and tear horus and I feel like I just took a stray bullet to the shoulder. I was also using stun for when I just want to easy grind my gems. You can't judge me for being kinda done with snake eyes format, in fact this is probbly why stun is so popular right now, it's probably directly tied to how bad and unfun a format is to play in general. And I lost 2 dyna and 3 jowgen (yeah I used 3 jowgen because I didn't want to spend the dust on the better cards), so again, stray bullets.

The Yubel deck got a light hit. If Opening of the Spirit Gates were limited to 1, it would make things harder for Yubel. From what I've seen when people play Yubel, the majority run 3 Samsara Lotus, 3 Nightmare Throne, and 3 Opening of the Spirit Gates. Limiting other cards in the Yubel main deck to 2 or 1 doesn’t impact it as much. As for the Fire King Snake-Eye deck, I’m not sure how much it’s affected by Poplar being limited to 1. I’ve faced and seen players using only 2 High Avatar Kirin, and the deck is still just as brutal. Finally, stun decks are getting some attention and getting hit on the limited and banned list. Finally, Primeval Planet Perlereino is banned. Maybe it's just me who hasn't had issues with Snow, but I've lost to Tearlaments because of Primeval Planet Perlereino. I was hoping that Labrynth would get some attention and get hit on the limited and banned list.

it is a soft hit on yubel at best, as most of the decks run their stuff at two anyway, fire king and snake eye now essentially have a garnet, iblee and jowgen can SMD and tear lost one of its search, imperm dodger and pop. Virus to three is a problem as labrynth has not been hit properly due to how long they take with ban lists. They can now hard open and pop not just one card with lovely but possibly your entire hand. ALSO TRANSACTION ROLL BACK.

Snake eye with 1 ash, 1 poplar, 1 wanted will be so easy to interrupt and if you open poplar and ash, poplar will be a brick since you can't search it anymore to special summon it. Tear is only playable, because there are generic millers. Yubel will get its cards limited soon. It's still very playable, because it's quite new in MD. Branded is not consistent at all and is so easily interrupted, unless you open thrust + grass. Spright is semi-playable, but it's not even that good due to powercreep. Runick is basically killed with 1 fountain and all the good spells limited. Floowandereeze got a little consistency buff, but it's not enough to make it good. Stun keeps getting hit as well. Not that I like stun, but it should be an option as well. Why would they make such cards to begin with if they don't want them to be legal? The list goes on... They will just keep reducing the top decks' consistency to make everyone buy the newer broken decks.. That's what I mean. They will be playable, but not good enough due to how easily they will die to hts and how much better the newer decks will be. They should just print more balanced cards in general to stop this, but they won't.

EEV, AT LEAST, can still destroy continuous spell/trap cards already face-up on the field. Which means that it can destroy the Nightmare Pain and Nightmare Throne from Yubel, for example. Also, Tenpai is coming. So, it means that you can delete all of its board breakers and potentially its field spell from its hand before getting played. EEV WILL be toxic and Labrynth WILL 🍑-break your going second intentions with the unfair fire dragons. Runick players... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bad list imo. The floodgate hits are inconsistent (ban Jowgen, but keep 1 Dyna is wierd and 3 Collosus), they went way harder on Yubel than in any other format, but Snake-Eyes is still playable between one Ash and Poplar, FK is still good with 2 Kirin, might even make Rescue Ace more appealing to pivot back to, and Perlerino seems way too late for it to really matter. Literal coughing babies and puking horses over there.

I want them to ban the OSS Snake-eye spell it would remove a lot of Snake-eyes ability to extend by removing its ability to special summon the level 1 fire monsters from deck and to follow up with the search of a level one fire, Diabellstar also would no longer be a starter and by extension neither would wanted, and Normal summon ash would still get you full snake-eyes combo but it would no longer also get you full rescue-ace combo or full Fire-King combo.

Dlink looking nice rn, was getting bored of yubel anyway even though it's definitely still playable with 2 phantom. Makes using the first phantom as link material somewhat of a gamble because you go through both copies and potentially not have one for followup now if they negate the rage. Also forces you to recycle with throne or rage rather than just gaining more card advantage. Gates should be at 1 the card is dumb

Ritual beasts are so overrated it's crazy, I play it in the TCG and going into yubel on MD my eyes were nearly popping out of my head at how hardy the deck is in comparison. Rit beast is so hand reliant whereas Yubel seems to always have multiple plays to use just to bait interaction before going into your actual combo meanwhile RB dies on the normal summon if you dont also open lara or e tele. Once you actually learn RB you realise the deck is either shifter to win or a 20 step combo to facilitate Protoss. Granted the deck has some nice alternatives but when you play something like Yubel you realise how outclassed you really are.. This is on top of the fact that RB takes a long time to master while I learnt yubel in 2 days and got up to both M1 and DLv20

It still is very strong and a good meta contender. In a fiendsmith and tenpai format in the tcg it’s still the 4th best deck and has some very good toppings. I do agree with you calling it overrated tho but it does deserve some of the praise it gets. It will for sure not be as good in md due to time and bo1 format but it should still perform solidly.

@@sanadye1861 I'm telling you man, if you play RB try another deck and you will realise how powerful these other decks are in comparison. The difference is crazy. I play RB in paper and I can top locals with it, I just don't think it holds a candle to other modern decks and my comparison point is Yubel in MD which isnt even at full power with FS and Varudras yet. It takes so much effort for so little reward besides D shifter and Protoss which do most of the heavy lifting for the deck and has done in its tournament tops.

@@gamingsuperun well yeah shifter and protos carry hard cuz they’re broken but that in itself is a strength of the deck. The fact that it’s a shifter deck, can run d fissure, and consistently summon protos and not allow the opponent to play the game. I guess we’ll see how strong it is in md tho. I’m looking forward to it regardless, imma play it till the release of malice so prob till like April or May lol

Common masterduel L, tear field spell hit but not yubel’s?(the tear field spell practically needs the shufflers to function or for you to mill a tear on your opponent to utilize the pop) that’s wild man when the Yubel field spell is significantly better. But banning jowgen or whatever and ib but limiting dyna? The next option to lock your opponent out??? Is also pretty stupid when that’s pretty similar to just limiting the floods to 1 like they always do when the cards should be banned considering stun decks run basically what? 3 of the pot cards just to search for dyna, solemn, etc also floo can search dyna too btw with small world. Almost forgot the barrier statues lmao Poplar to 1 doesn’t make a difference considering how it’s played in the tcg/ocg sure drawing it would suck but the chances are lower, would’ve genuinely preferred a ban or at least ban flameberge. But the rest of the banlist is ite ig a Yubel limit definitely would’ve been peak since it stops the spam climb into appo(since the card is still legal). Hope the next one just nukes the floods and randomly swings on floo.

My personal take on this is Hitting Tear is cringe Yubel hits were decent but I’d prefer Phantom just going to 1 SE Poplar to 1 is huge Kirin to 2 is unnecessary Stun hits are based Iblee and Jowgen ban is based Unhits are cool but don’t matter at all aside from Chaos Space. D-Link forever :) This is a decent list overall. But I think Tear was hit for no reason. Yes it is a good deck, but performing well in Worlds honestly doesn’t matter. That format isn’t truly reflective of the MD format. Ik Tear was also good during DC but the deck just didn’t need to be hit. Good doesn’t mean it is a problem. Yubel could’ve been hit ever so slightly harder. As in I wouldn’t have hit the Beast engine at all. Just Phantom to 1 would’ve been enough. Kirin didn’t need to be hit since the FK cards aren’t the issue. Poplar and Bonfire to 1 would’ve been enough. Tbh this feels like they just wanna open the format for Tenpai, rather than they wanna hit decks to bring the format to better health.

Tear was basically the 3rd best deck in the format, looking at worlds, global rating in ranked, and duelist cup performance… if it wasn’t hit there was an issue. Far from cringe. Can you argue the card they hit, sure. Should’ve been snow or grass but something for sure needed to happen. Everything else you said is spot on tho but don’t try to give tear that leniency cuz u like it lol.

@@sanadye1861 I don’t really put any stock in Worlds for MD due to how the shared card pool can affect representation. Tear being the 3rd best deck I don’t think is an issue. The deck was strong but I don’t believe it really warranted a hit. Especially one that has more affect on the deck than what the others recieved. Perl being gone does a lot. It seems very lopsided of a hit compared to what Yubel and SEFK, not in terms of quantity ofc but of impact. I see the Tear hit much like they’ve done with Dragons before or others, where they hit a deck due to time played, rather than it truly being an issue. I personally would take care of the 2 decks defining the format first before looking at the decks thriving in the format those stated have made.

I disagree about the perlereino being a that good of a hit, yeah it does make it so rainbow bridge and trivikarma lose their best search, but that only makes tear much more reliant to horus and lightsworn than ever before. You can still search grief with trivikarma or mill sulliek to access tear lines if you only drew the horus cards so really it just makes horus tear the better tear variant. If we really need to hit field spells here, then banning horus field spell might be a little bit better since if you didn't draw any horus cards there would be no way to access those while doing tear combos. That said, if tear should be hit, you either hit horus and/or ban snow. Genuinely, snow is the most degenerate card of that 60 card pile and its insane how it wasn't banned during the format where ishuzu chaos pile was a thing

The main combo to search Perlereino was Snake-Eye cards to make Curious which let you access your engine and mill 3 by dumping Rainbow Bridge off of the one card. Having to rely more on Horus and Lightsworn is big downgrade. Horus cards are hurt more by handtraps/interruption and the Lightsworn engine requires a massive deckbuilding commitment along with a bunch of bricks in itself.

In that case I guess hitting the field spell is better but I'd still rather advocate for banning curious in that regard since she's only used in a degenerate fashion. That's wishful thinking tho since lightsworn support just got released. Welp in any case, that's probably the sign to make me quit the game for a few months. Had a lotta fun with 60 card paleo tear but now that perlereino is banned, trivikarma being useless, and being forced to send sulliek to access tear combos, I'm just too depressed to continue playing now
