The NEW ! McCormick FARMALL 300

The New to us Farmall 300 . Very excited about getting into and working with this tractor. I've had my eye out for some time and just happen to stumble across this tractor a few weeks ago and on the 3rd of September was able to bring it home . I hope you enjoy as we work it and work on it getting a few little things fixed and upgraded on it . #farmall51

@@doubleafarm ever since we had the 300 utility they have grown on me. This has about everything I was looking in one and it seems to be in fairly good shape.

@@farmall51 yeah they are nice! Yours does look to be in really good shape. Yeah I have a 300 utility myself but can’t get it running. Maybe one day I will get back to it.

It was hard to pass this one up . It will eventually need a repaint but it is a good survivor .

Nice looking tractor. Those machines are handy. My family and I cut ted rake and bale small square bales of hay with a 1957 farmall 350. It works well for that job with the indepent pto, ta and the ability to adjust the hitch up and down with the 2 point fast hitch.

Thankyou . The Hundred series has grown on me since the utility we have . I will probably go ahead and upgrade the battery situation on it here soon that 6v is so slow at turning it over . Thanks for watching .

I bought a 230 Farmall the other day to add to my collection. Already own a C, 3 Super Cs along with a H, 656, and Massey 135. Probably end up getting rid of two of the Super Cs and find me a 200 eventually. Love the 300,400,350 and 450’s also. Not many of those around here though.

i have the very same tractor and its a 55 too, mine was locked up now is free im doing a full restore soon. fast hitch as well...i got a fast hitch back blade for it at auction.

I know when JTWES got his utility and told me about it the other week I said its funny you say that lol . I found this really back in May and finally got up with the guy and went to look at it and test it out and made a deal and went 2 weeks ago to pick it up . I didn't go as far as joey did to get mine lol but it was just one county over .

I wanted a 300u or 350 until I got this M 😂. The power and sound of the M is amazing lol. After working this M I want a 400 or 450 😂

@@Moorefarmalls the 300 has more HP but the power to weight is more balanced on the M. 42hp on the 300 and 38 on the M.

@@farmall51 I gotcha. Mine looks like it has dome top pistons but that’s from an inspection camera. They don’t look like the M&W pistons more like fire crater but it does have a M&W hand throttle and the 8060 head on it. It’s pretty stout lol. It will climb a mountain pulling a 7ft hogg cutting scrubs head high lol

when I went to pick it up it started perfectly and when I got it hope it spun over a few times but the 6v battery just didn't have enough to start it . I guess that's one of the items on the agenda that will need to be addressed soon .
