We've brought home another Farmall, this time a 300 and we try to get it running. Watch to see if we were successful! Do you think it will run?

Anytime you pull a tractor always hook on to the frame!

John Deere and International both used Swartz wide front ends in the fifties. My John Deere 70 has a Swartz wide front axle.

Geeepers 😳I could have had that thing running in the time this video took. Check compression and for sticky valves. run new switch and wire to the distributor . new point and non resistor coil. rebuild the carb. NEW fuel line .TAKE THE WHOLE CARB OFF AND SOAK IT IN EVAPORUST ! 😁 thanks

That’s what we are hoping for.

This guy needs to bypass the starting solenoid. He needs to hook that battery directly to the starter. The starting solenoid does nothing. That is if the battery is good. I haven't seen him even meter the battery to see what the voltage is. So we don't even know the state of the battery. How is it he doesn't even know the plier or screw driver trick to try to jump the starter. I am quickly loosing faith in this farmer.

I actually load tested battery 400 amps with a carbon pile load tester. Tested solenoid and it’s functioning properly. Starter winding has a bad spot in it. Pulled starter out turned it a little and it works until it hits the bad spot. Edited some of that boring stuff from the video
