Got to agree with you. I have bought C1, C2, N3, and also have a set of the N3 Pro limbs. All great to shoot with at a really decent price.

@@brookvalleylife724 My N3's are so fast! How do they do it?...
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
Hi everyone. Just got the reply from Nika about the 70" limbs: We have no plans to produce 70-inch C2 limb at present, and only the N3 limb has 70inch. If we see many customers' feedback that they want to launch the 70-inch C2 limb, our company will also consider production and listing. So if you want the C2 in long limbs, leave a message on the Nika website. Many voices make things happen. They are also bringing out a new high quality limb "N3 progress pro". They will be more expensive but from what I understand very fast, smooth and stable (Like top of the range Uukhas.

Thanks for the review. I ended up ordering 32# c2 limbs yesterday along with their plunger and magnetic rest. Do you know if Junxing make the 25” riser in Left Hand? I would be very interested in that
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
That is a good poundage. I don't think they do left hand unfortunately. However I did get some information that the riser is made from recycled aluminum and may become unstable at higher poundages (50lb+) but mine have been perfect and I shoot 40lb on my competition bow.

Great review Mate! I appreciate your honest approach and trust your insights. I'm shooting those Unison Limbs and loving them. I wonder how comparable they are?

Glad you liked it. So it really depends on how you like your limbs to feel when you draw. I like smooth with no stacking. These are very smooth, ultra quiet and stable as well. I am going to do a Break 500 shoot with then today if I have time (new series Break 500 coming in about 2 weeks). In fact I am wondering about shooting these rather than the N3s which are nearly double the price, and faster. I should be getting your arrows this week so will get onto them once they are here. Just love the postal system.....

@@brookvalleylife724 i just built a second target for expanding my distance. I put it at 30 meters but havn't shot it yet. I'm so close to getting my groove at 18:) would you reccomend a different "far" target? I'm looking to do 3-D barebow so being able to shoot different targets will be critical. I'm glad the Arrows getting there... I'll have my crappy ones all beat up good by the time my good ones get here:) thanks Mate
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
@@WardStroud Yes with the targets at different distances. If you can make the target portable, that would be better as you will need to shoot alot of different distances. If you can do that when training, it will be perfect. Check the rules and see what your max and min distances will be. I know for field archery for me its 60m max and about 3m min. Don't forget the close up stuff as no one ever trains that close and its good to get sight marks for all if possible. I guess its finger crawl for you barebowers :) Can I ask how you made the target as I am looking for a new one and shipping is anywhere from $200 to over $600.....

Could you check the actual draw weight of the C2? I got mine in 38 pounds, but it only measures 34 pounds at 29" draw length, limb bolts middle setting on W&W ATF X. Told them about the issue but they refuse to acknowledge their QC mistakes and just say different riser will have different poundage, however a difference of 4 pounds is outside of normal range, overall a pretty negative experience with them so far...
@brookvalleylife7246 ай бұрын
Mine run at 38lb in a Nika riser. It was less in a hoyt and slightly more in a topoint. All limb bolts were in the mid position. The host was 35lb and topoint 39lb. The host with limb bolts all the way in read 38lb. I have found that different riser do give a large range of readings. I have 40lb uukha limbs that shoot 37.5 in a hoyt nexus, 40lb in my junxing h7 which is the hoyt xceed copy and 42lb in my nika et11 riser. No help, but it does happen

just fyi update. The description for the Uni's say all Carbon crossed and Unidirectional fibers more dense than lamiate? hmmmmmmmm..... ? I had to really dig to find that info and it was on a Walmart page for Topoint and unavailable.
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
Yes the used carbon in layers and make sure each layer is crossed compared to the last one, to make it torsionally strong. Nika do the same as Uukha and use carbon and resin in a mould and put it under pressure and heat to do their limbs. There is a great video on the Nika or Elong web site showing people actually standing on the limbs to show how strong and flexible they are.

@@brookvalleylife724 I wish i knew who made the Unisons. It's pretty moot at this point as I know I am the limiting factor not the limbs for results but I did spend a bit more to get something that I could grow into:) These will have to last me a long time:)

Great job! So now for the tough question...C1's or the C2's? Which do you prefer and why? Thanks for the input!
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
Now thats a difficult question. I have shot both and I find very little difference between them. I guess with 20% carbon, the C1 maybe a fraction faster, but I do like the C2 feel. The only down side for me on both is they don't do the long limb to make a 70" bow on a 25" riser, unlike the N3 limbs which are fantastic but more expensive. My choice would be the C2 for feel , but very close.
@stephenhajovsky3971 Жыл бұрын
Yes sir! I just watched the other videos. And you pretty much said the same thing. I just a pair of the C2’s! I’m fairly new to barebow archery and was trying to find a higher quality limb for a decent price. Your videos were very helpful! And you are a great shot! Crazy to think that I’m talking to someone in New Zealand! Wow. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Have a great day! Steve from Texas

@@stephenhajovsky3971 All good Steve. If you can afford a bit extra, go for the N3 limbs. They are faster and I know a lot of Barebowers are using them. Depends on the finish you want. Carbon weave go for the C1 or matt black or white then C2. Both feel the same when shooting. Smooth stable but not as fast as the N3. Very hard wearing though.

Yep, same here! I would have bought the C1's ages ago if they were available in 70". The N3's a bit more of an investment, so budget constraints are preventing me from getting those. But the C1's and now C2's would be automatic buys but for the length.
