As a Saints fan this defense still has Demario Davis, Cam Jordan, Mathieu, Lattimore. All Franchise level players and the defense has still looked atrocious the last few games. I know injuries will be the scape goat but if you look most of those are on the offense. Allen is a Defensive minded HC and you let 2 teams come into your house and blow you out with all your star Defensive players starting? No Excuses.

If Sean Payton had Rattler, he’d be undefeated. The difference is the Coaching. Fire Allen and make Kubiak HC for the rest of the season. Then get a whole new Coaching staff at the end of the season. Kubiak can’t adjust and the season is over if anyone in his complex offense goes down injured. I’m done watching these Saints until the front office proves that they want to win again.

The saints will probably be very slow to do stuff. I don’t want to see the saints go 9-8 and run it back with DA and aging out vets but it may be what we are looking at. I want to see them run the table and all but if not then let it all burn and hopefully at the end of the year they let DA go , bump Mickey upstairs and put a young modern gm in place and a young offensive minded head coach in place. Give kubiak a shot, he was born into the Shanahan/kubiak system. Hire the jets ex coach as d coordinator, trade or drop these aging vets and start a new building process to compete for titles.
