Its not gonna take over games like in OU with CM but its gonna wallbreak insanely well for teammates. Its a more consistent breaker than everything they have in 15-14 points. And its a breaker thats good into offense on top of everything.

I just personally disagree with some of your takes, namely banning Speed Boost on Blaziken (It needs at least a turn to really outspeed threats, but I’ll acknowledge it to be a 19 or 18 point mon with it) and banning Deoxys speed (I don’t think it hits hard enough to be ban worthy). Since draft leagues have switched to a point based system rather than a tiered system I think it could be interesting to actually allow some otherwise banned mons, but limit it to 1 per team and make them so prohibitively expensive that picking one will require a signific1nt amount of planning if you want to be abooe to build a proper team around them. Idk how well that would actually work, but I think it could be an interesting idea to experiment with.

I liked Shuckle's take more than Emvee. Just banning things without keeping healthy amount of challenge isn't fun imo. S-deoxys, Alchremie and Blaziken Speed boost are somethings I'd like to see too. Counterplay and adaption strategy make pokemon fun. None of these mons were broken.

Offense is the best playstyle in draft. Due to the limited mons each coach has access to, it exacerbates bad defensive matchups. Speed Boost Blaziken is checked and countered well in OU due to the overwhelming presence of a group of mons within the tier that everyone has access to defend against it. Now spread all of those mons across 12-16 coaches and the coach that drafted Speed Boost Blaziken can now simply just counter draft Priority users, defensive checks etc and mons that match up well into Blaziken. Blaziken has 4mss in OU but not in draft. Being able to choose the perfect coverage into every match + Speed Boost leave teams with little to defend against it. There's a niche counter to everything in Draft. That dosent then therfore = that everything is fine to be allowed. Every team will eventually have a horrendous matchup into a certain Pokemon or combination. Its about how consistently are teams able to manage threats. I'd argue Blaziken is too hard to deal with and that the strats to handle it are inconsistent on a game to game basis. Same thing goes for Deo-S and many other banned mons. Alcremie is fine. Still super susceptible to Phazing. In general if a Pokemon's only consistent way to be checked in draft is by bringing Scarfers then that usually is a good indication that it is too good to be allowed.

Oh and then It was also one of my tera captains so it got to tera into a dark type, which let it cheese some prankster mons trying to t wave it, and flying, for the free turn against ground.

l really hope someone picked up Slaking for 2 points,, l get that it's a rough mon to use in draft when everything can run Protect, but l feel like forcing the opponent to randomly run protect on some of their mons is worth the 2 points in of itself. You dont even have to actually bring Slaking, you just have to have it in your draft and it's gonna put in work, and then when you do bring it you have a mon with legendary BST :]
