The New Power Rangers Reboot Suits
One of the most important things about Power Rangers is the costumes and this has become one of the most concerning issues with the reboot of the franchise. Because in the 2017 movie this was one of the worst flaws that reboot had, fans are afraid of this happening again. Luckily, there are many excellent designers out there and today we're going to showcase two of the best we've seen.

Power Rangers is an American television series and franchise of the tokusatsu genre, version of Super Sentai Series, a Japanese television series of the same genre. It has been broadcast since 1993. From 2002 to 2009, the franchise was owned by The Walt Disney Company, but was reacquired in 2010 by Haim Saban, its creator and original driving force between Mighty Morphin and Wild Force (the latter created early in production before the sale of Saban Entertainment to Disney). On May 1, 2018, it was confirmed that the franchise was bought by Hasbro.

I hope any of these makes the cut as well as a great story line, I'm all in. I'm 42 and I grew up watching PR and I'm ready for adult take, only thing I wish were that all 6 of the original had parts in it but we only can hope for 4 RIP 😢 TT and JDF.

I was in charge fo the reboot i would use these designs. For mighty mrophin i would use these designs 3:19 and tommy 3:26 and for ninjor 4:15 and for alpha i would use the 3rd design 5:02 for goldar i would use the 1st design 5:08 for zeo i would use 5:52 for time force i would use 6:31 for turbo i would use this and make it more like ironman's suit 7:35 and for in space i would use this 7:45

Both Carlos and Jay’s designs look dope. 4:28 Zhane’s suit looks crisp. 5:03 Alpha’s first one is the best, imo. 5:09 Goldar’s second look is menacing as hell; hopefully that’s the one they strongly consider for him. 5:48 Gosh, I really do love a larger shield for Tommy’s suit. The crest atop his helmet looks clean too. 7:28 Turbo looks sweet. 7:51 I’ve gotta go with Carlos’ designs for “In Space”; they just look better to me. Jay’s belts though, put them on Carlos’ suits and they’re perfect.

These suits from 3:12 are from the canceled video game called Project Nomad The creator was planning to make an Arkham/Gotham Knights type fighting game but sadly he didn't create it except creating Ranger suits.

Whoever pulls of making these designs of power rangers suits, villains, and a WICKED megazord designs the most, he's the coolest artist of the superhero design input compared to the marvel movies, the DC movies, even way compared to my anime-style/superhero designs. I admired this guy and this motivates me to get back doing more of my anime-style superhero artwork more. Whoever you are with these designs, thank you and keep up the good awesome work!!

You can tell who they are which for a reboot is good, the designers did an excellent job updating the designs. I like these designs. I'd like to see their take on Dairanger (perhaps remove any designs MMPR White Ranger has?), Zenkaiger and Twokaiger (theses being Prototype Rangers), one being Zordon and the others Eltarians, with that series slowly setting the stage for Lord Zedd and show his transformation. Maybe give his design a fresh look? Maybe have him take off his helm face plate to reveal a grotesque face? Perhaps the final set of MMPR episodes has Lord Zedd in the power chamber, confronting Zordon (via the Zordon tube), while trapped in a laser prison, he finally removes the face guard after the lines: "YOU DID THIS TO ME BY NOT GIVING ME A MORPHER! so I used my Archeology skills to track the Zeo crystals, but the protection I wasn't able to defeat. That old friend, created this new body, one that defeated your team, and I defeated the Time Force Rangers and SPD." With Zordon relying: "You have forced me, old friend, to use the Forbidden Ranger protocol. Alpha send the signal." Perhaps some new teams inspired by thing PR hasn't had before, like Knights and Military.

I really like Carlos Dattoli designs! The suits look awesome. I especially love the way Tommy's White Tiger Suit stands out, it reminds me of the armored suits in The first Powers Ranger Movie just more sleek and upgraded!!! Awesome work👍👍👍👍 I hope to see them in real time (life)🙏. Also Jay the Zeo and Time Force suits are Freaking Amazing!!!! Man i wish could make one to wear myself 😁😁😁😁

Since Power Rangers is now owned by HASBRO, the suit design for the re-reboot is in the right hands. Imagine how Transformers looked in their live-action movies... Maybe we can expect something on the reins of that powered exo-suit of Noah's from Transformers:Rise of the Beasts

I wish they would got to TokuJay and pay him for his designs. BUT, that would be the right thing to do. And so far, in the end of the Power Rangers Franchise, there has been a lot of bad decisions due to a lack of care for the franchise as a whole and a lack of consideration for the fans.

Suggestion Video about the Reboot : Civilian powers yes or no ? The very first chronological Civilian Powers as a team was Dino Thunder ( Katie in Time Force had super strength , Andros from in space had psychic abilities but where aliens or augmented humans ) The powers from the ninja storm came from meditation and teaching so the very first civilian powers as a team of rangers was Dino Thunder. Connor , the leader of the Dino Thunder rangers on field and also captain of a football team , although his powers made sense , it really didnt because it is expected for a ranger to be agile and fast. Also , the White Ranger made use of that speed agility and creativity when he was evil. Kira had a voice that can cripple her enemies but her ranger weapon did pretty much the same and she didnt use it while morphed . Ethan had powerful endurance but used a shield while morphed. Also , these rangers where not physically imposing and felt like giving a tank to kids that barely know how to drive or cross the street. For a mature story writing , this cannot happen or , have the rangers gain those powers when their morphers are out of commission and this becomes the last line of defense or use those powers to repair their morphers and get back to action.

Zhane the Silver Ranger from Power Rangers In Space was one of my favorite sixth rangers. That actual series is actually my favorite PR series to be honest besides the original OG Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I especially loved the short sweet/bitter love story that happened between zhane and karone/astronama, the red rangers long lost sister. While I don't know if zhane was all that powerful in comparison to other sixth Rangers from all of the other PR series, but he was definitely one of the coolest as a new never before seen ranger. @ 4:26 I would have to say that the third suit to the right is the best Silver Ranger suit. The helmet has a aggressive and sharp look to it and the suit itself is actually SILVER and still looks strong.

It would be interesting to see power rangers suits that is not spandex with flexibility for the actors to move. Spandex for power rangers suits is outdated it should be something updated.

The Morphing sequence in reboot . Recent seasons or ... post Zordon Era used the morphing sequence to highlight the introduction of a new ranger and it was always epic. However , the morphing sequence takes about 90 seconds of precious time and at times it can be boring to watch, some monsters even joking about it and us viewers wonder why dont they use the morphing sequence to attack ore prevent the megazord from forming. Lothor in Ninja Storm ordered the monster to attack the rangers before they can call the zords while they are busy having nightmares. In the reboot they should explain that they must call out their morphers because they are voice locked so even if an enemy captures one morpher like Kat Rita and Zed had Kimberly power coin , they cannot access the ranger powers. A morpher is like an id badge ! Never leave home without it.

I felt like the franchise started to target older kids with better stories & effects. Then snapped back catering to the 4-6 with less developed stories & ridiculous looking villains. Hopefully this reboot appeals to a larger audience

Whatever they do I hope that this time they won't be stupid enough to remove the Green Ranger like they in the kids version show and that they are all seven Mighty Morphin Rangers in this new reboot a show so it'll be 10 times more cooler having all seven Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the new show Red Ranger 🔴, Yellow Ranger 🟡, Blue Ranger 🔵, Black Ranger ⚫, Green Ranger 🟢, White Ranger ⚪ and Pink Ranger 💓.

If they want an adult audience and collectors then they need to have good designers and invest the money into getting those designs right. There's enough designers out there and source material to know what the audience wants and 30 years of sales to know what collectors want and expect. Once they have this right then they need to continue with the quality of the writing for the episodes. They have 30 years of history to draw off and get it right. Yes it's a business and yes it's a big investment however it will make a great foundation to build up from and they will get there money back and more from taking there time

4:52 no1 looks more in focuse with the tv shows while no 3 looks kinda more battlizier form at least to me you can see it when you see the silver ranger but for the reboot these are not bad concepts and i would love to see them in the reboot because they have kept more in line with the frist show looks but with a diffrent tone.

Look they tried the Zords with 2017 and their zords where not the issue but they didnt blend in with the picture. If indeed they want to reboot the franchise and be called Power Rangers then they must make the rangers grow but not right away. Giant rangers or giant zords now must be earned by shining their individual personalities. Once one ranger can complete the other have them grow team work and destroy the villain.

The designs are like all awesome.. but if Power Rangers goes into the adult genre..it will gain a massive following and audience but it will like also create a fork with the children's version and the adults version!! The franchise needs to grow because Power Rangers is already seen as a kids show and it's not taken as seriously as other franchises. Power Rangers has already shown it can have more mature themes thanks to the BOOM! Studios comics.

I’m in for new series for adult audiences on platforms to watch the series. Legend of the White Dragon is in thoughts when to be released in theaters and platforms and possibly to be available in stores to buy on Blu-ray dvd etc and I’m all on for new designs for the whole series. ⚡️💚🤍☯️

I think a power rangers series should be focused on teenagers. Always should have been. Made for the whole family but targeted at teens. Making it for adults seems like they are going to the other extreme and overshoot the target. Needs to be like the MCU's level of seriousness, humor, action, etc.

I have no interest, and they shouldn't use a green ranger. JDF will never be replaced. I also don't want a dark adult horror version. So what if it's for kids? Adults watch mmpr.
