This new energy happened with my ex gf,we were in a long distance relationship,i knew she had a impulsive personality,so when the relationship began to fracture,i gave away the jealousy that she could be cheating,because i was unable to change what she may or may not do,i turned it into a fantasy she was doing stuff with others,it was a way of letting go,because we cant control anyone at the end of the day.

I don’t understand why you would even want to put yourselves through this. Emotional connections can be risky. Why do it? Your partnership should always be first and foremost.
