I just got an AMAZING deal on a 2019 Instinct carbon 90 BC edition, I can tell you compared to my 2018 Spectral 6.0 the RM is far superior in climbing and descending. There is a hill which I rarely made with my Spectral as the front end used to lift and the rear didn't remain planted even with 2.6 tires but yesterday I made it 1st time fully seated on the Instinct, rear stayed planted like glue and front the same. going down short, steep and rough patches are also much more reassuring, happy with the purchase, its a BIG step up in my opinion Geometry and weight distribution seems much better

Sad face. I wanted to watch this...but the chest mounted 7 makes me motion sick. I got about 30 s in and that was all I could last. I saw your 8th place finish in the Trans BC. NICE! That's very impressive, and congrats on that achievement.

Me three. I miss the gimbal and I'm not a big fan of the chin mount either.

@@simmo4768 .... We differ there. If you watch Phil's recent videos, they are all with the chin mount. I think Paul The Punter's footage from the KZbinr practice day at Whistler is VERY well done with the chin mount as well. For me, it's the best blend of what's directly in front of the bike, and being able to see the horizon, WHEN the rider gets the angle of the camera correct. I agree that the gimbal has more margin for error, because it corrects to the horizon, but you miss all the gnarly rock gardens as they go down them as a result. I also like being able to see further into the corners as the rider turns their head to the exit. The gimbal gives the feeling of more speed with the slightly lower shot, but I'll give that up for a more encompassing view of the trail. What I don't really care for with the Hero 7, is the under visor, or helmet mount. I don't hate it, but it's nothing like the stability of the chin mount. I get it though...everyone has their preferences, and while I don't like the gimbal as much as a well executed chin mount Hero 7, I still love watching those videos (BKXC does a nice job with his for instance). I just do not care for the constant BIG movements that you get with the Hero 7 chest mounted. Those are what make me queasy feeling. I know it doesn't affect everyone that way, and people have to make a decision on their footage, but I just can't watch it, unfortunately.
