35:00 I've noticed in the last two weeks or so how poorly the current crop of MOD police manage the guard changes. No longer do they come out about 2 mins before the change to ensure that everyone is behind the bollards, they wait until the new guards are almost in the boxes before they come out to check if the pavement is clear. The four o'clock inspections have become chaotic too as they now allow all the people who were standing on the pavement to come into the yard after the horses are brought in and it results in huge groups standing very close to the mounted troopers and the exits being completely blocked.

@@lindajw100 The members of the Household Cavalry propose names and I believe it’s the Riding Master who makes the final choices. Each year’s intakes have names beginning with the same letter, 2024 is Z, so Zandvoorde and Zorba are youngsters. The horses are often named after battles, places and tributes to fallen members. In 2012 the public was invited to suggest names for the Diamond Jubilee year. That year’s letter was M, with Majesty being understandably one of the most popular suggestions.

Ok my second comment of the day now I have watched I think the lady pushing the chair and the tour guide were to blame. Particularly the tour guide who sent her forward and then turned his back. I felt for the young lady in the chair as it drew more attention to her. Hopefully she was not embarassed. Tour guide in his position slow to react, had to be told and with one of his more vulnerable tour members even more care should be taken. No harm done but hopefully this is a lesson to this tour guide. It was handled well by the trooper ❤ Thanks for a stress free video. I enjoyed watching the calm horses but also the troopers standing and sitting tall. It must be so much easier for them. Also I always appreciate when I get to see the police horses, my favourite bit and I loved seeing that officer's respectful hat tip. So nice. ❤

WE must remember that the security level has been heightened by MI5. The MOD has now increased the protection for Horseguards & the Horses. Tourists also must be aware of this in their travels. ONly a few days ago man arrested not far from horseguards on his way within a protest march . Was carrying a large hammer ! Police got him in their car I think it was Buska who filmed it. Only problem I see is that the Met police are not on duty outside, only the MOD police inside 3/4 on duty . I cannot understand this. There have been in the last 2/3 days some very near disasters happening with out of control horses not liking the crowds . The mounted police coming along the road(2 ladies) had to talk to the crowd to disperse & give the horseguard & horses room to manoeuvre. There were no other authority about to help. I would imagine that both troopers had something to say when they returned to barracks. The complete stupid behaviour of the tourists just standing around is just unbelievable.

The continued push to reset America to be apart of the One World Government is why these foreign governments are interfering with the November 5th presidential election. It’s going to be a very close election. But, with all the coverage 24/7 of Trump/Harris. Rules only works when enforce collectively by the Mounted Guards. Unfortunately, a few of them are still in a selective mode of enforcement. Watching them in person is like a football game, the battle between the defensive ( horses) & the offensive (tourists) players. A good example is ORMONDE who plays defensive for stopping the run or touch by the ignorant & disrespectful tourists that doesn’t follow the rules. I must say, by doing so, he always wins & earned their respect that he truly deserves as a Military Working Horse…

Ormonde apppears to be the only horse who enforces the rules. Overall, he seems happier not to have to enforce his space but he will. His riders have the responsibility of telling the tourists to leave him and all the other war horses alone.

I, for one, am thrilled that enforcement is becoming the norm rather than the exception. Now, I realize, as do other long-time viewers of these channels, that these new rules are not the "perfect" fix. There will always be those who misbehave, as others who - for whatever reason - ignore the signs. I know many have made fun of the pictograph sign, and - maybe - the horse silhouette could be better drawn. But, it is pretty clear IMO taken *with* context of it being there at horse guards, it is a horse! Ah well, you're never going to make 100% of everyone happy 100% of the time, are you?
