I think the plot- or maybe story- will be that Shaggy and Scooby went to Japan(?), maybe because they heard that Japan had really good food or something along the lines of that, or a vacation. While there they make some friends with people who are also possibly tourists, local citizens, or maybe people from other countries who moved there😅 Scooby and Shaggy will probs bring along their silly nature, but also attract mischief! They’ll probably accidentally discover little ghouls and some monsters from Japanese myths, thinking they’re people in costumes, or maybe they actually will be like in the classic tv shows?

Scooby-Doo has had shows where members of the original gang aren't there. Scooby-Doo and the 13 ghosts had Scooby, Shaggy, and Daphne go around and take care of a bunch of real ghosts. And there was also Scooby-Doo Get a Clue where Shaggy inherited his Uncle's mansion, which included a recipe to make Scooby Snax that gave dogs super powers.
