Seems to be a good blower for homeowner use. I prefer other battery blowers but this one seems to be good quality.

I borrowed a really nice Makita jet blower like that off someone last year. It could move heavy stuff like this one but what you say about the battery is very true, it would eat through them in no time on the high settings.

Commercial users would have a couple batteries on the go, and with the new fast chargers you could do a days work as long as you can charge them 👍🏼

@@MachineryNation It did have two batteries and a fast charger, you'd definitely need a means to charge that battery on the go for commercial usage. Where I used it I had the second battery plugged in like that, but at the sites outer parts I was having to walk 1/4 a mile back to the charger, then walk that 1/4 of a mile back again once it was swapped. That's seriously not practical. You'd need a van/atv or something capable of charging the batteries right there with you.

Great review as always. Im sure some petrol blowers go for a bit long but they will be noisy smelly old things. I have the BGA 60 AK battery blower for small gardens and its excellent.

This would be my dream blower, but for my driveway, my Makita 18V brushless axial blower is doing the job fine.

Curious to see it against the Husqvarna 200mph, 800cfm claimed handheld 350iB. I don’t think the Stihl BGA 250 is available in the US market. At least not yet.

Blower, battery and charger £700 on Stihl website for 12 - 40 minutes run time, I don’t think so. I wouldn’t call it a professional machine without a squadron of batteries. I’ll be sticking to petrol power, sorry I mean Aspen power.

You have to weigh up the price of the kit, and if you require extra tools at a later date. The tools compared to petrol are a lot more cost effective 👍🏼

Overpriced . My Makita dub184 does a decent job and I picked it up on a promo for $199 Australian with 2 x 5ah batteries and charger . This Stihl will be 5x that price with one battery , no charger .
