Lol! - they’re raising their fees, but also lowering their fees for those people that I think they want to sell their stores through the platform - it’ll be interesting to see how it goes down

Not a fan of this new program AT ALL… I’m not a ‘super heavy’ seller but I do sold over 100 pairs/year that means I get to sell with 8% transaction fee throughout the year. This new program just doesn’t make any sense at all because I will need to sell over 250 pairs in order to maintain my 8% transaction fee/ quarter?! That’s just bullshit, if I’m gonna sell that much I’ll be having my own store right now…. Not planning to sell on Stockx ever again.

Im basically in the same boat as you. Im lv4 & ive sold around 100-120 prs per year for just over 4.5 yrs, now all of that is flushed down the drain & i, you & whoever else got to lv 4, is kicked down to the kids/sellers that sell any old crap once every 6 months for $2 profit... SMFH These are difficult economic times, millions have lost their incomes, many sneaker resell prices have dropped to stupid lows (cue the applause from those that are happy) & what does Stockx do? They take the opportunity to add a new system that screws the small man, fully knowing that the small man will have to swallow this sh*t because they have no other viable option. And selling on Ebay is a HUGE risk at the best of times, Goat has ridiculous fees as well- so those that don't have a network within which they can sell their kicks (the majority) are f*cked (sorry for the colourful language)

I’ve been doing that for 2021 and love it. I get my shoes with in 5 days of sale because they have that fast shipping and not that slow shipping like goat and StockX use. Custom service a 100x better then goat and StockX also

Don't use STOCKX anymore. The customer service is rubbish, the warehouse is lazy, and there is no guarantee for selling shoes. Indiscriminate deduction of handling fees. Lost shoes when returned. I don't believe it if it didn't happen to me. Google can find more steal/change shoes cases.

So trash for casual sellers who use to meet sales requirements through the year. Rewarding the big sellers is cool. But taxing the lower end is trash!!

It’s still a win for StockX. Even if you get the 2% back your total fees will still be at 9-9.5%. Don’t forget they have a 3% processing fee. They are killing the smaller sellers with the 1.50. That means their % goes to 13-13.5%😂😂😂. That’s a shitload of bread 🍞 StockX just got. Man said it ain’t a big deal y’all 😂😂😂

Every platform has a 3% Processing fee though - that’s standard across the board because PayPal charges 2.9% on all transactions - they’re just covering their bases as every other platform does. Even eBay still requires that 3% fee.

It’s a great video though. A lot of people were able to at least get a clearer picture of their numbers and where they stand, so cheers 🥂 to that.

@@SneakerPhetish the fact that every platform has a 3% processing fee is false equivalency, because the other sellers are not the ones upping their fees & anyway, we/you are talking about Stockx-this whataboutist culture we live in is BS. Just because others have 3% processing fees , does not absolve Stockx from upping their fees in very difficult economic times , ergo screwing the 'little man' Just sayin.....

The best place to buy and sell is eBay now, no transaction fee at all, shipping is way better than stockx, the only disadvantage for a seller is the lower amount of buyers in comparison with stockx or goat.
