Thank you! Can you do a specific Bible study showing how you would use this? Also, would you be willing to do the same thing with the Thompson chain reference Bible? I’ve been looking for tutorials, but most of them are just a review of the Bible and not an actual tutorial of how to use it to study.

Well I do use this book in LOGOS in the Passage Guide. IT is one of the options I do look at when studing a list of items in a passage. Like the works of the flesh or Fruit of the Spirit. But it can be hard to use at times. It is not one of my top study tools to say the least. Thompson Chain is better. But check out Manser, Martin H. Dictionary of Bible Themes: The Accessible and Comprehensive Tool for Topical Studies. Martin Manser, 2009. IT is very good at getting to Biblical Themes.

This is a great book. Using it and a Bible Dictionary one can develop a strong faith according to God’s grace.

It is a good upgrade. I use it within Logos. It has a place for use. Though within the Logos Usually use it in my Passage Guide. Rarely do I use it by itself. Those areas I do like are th Proverbs and Prayer indexes. Yet I find something like the Dictionary of Bible Themes to be even of greater use. when I want to follow theme similar to what the Thompson Chain Bible does. I struggle with the format used in this book because of so many references word by word I get lost in the heme I am looking at. (Manser, Martin H. Dictionary of Bible Themes: The Accessible and Comprehensive Tool for Topical Studies. Martin Manser, 2009.) We each have different ways of studying. Though this book is a good one. Has its place yet it is harder to use in some respects when seeking out a topic of interest.

I enjoy watching you so much. I have this in Kindle. Is it an excellent tool for study. I don’t know the year though.

Good review. Yes, this new version is much easier to read, and has more additional features compared to the old version, but the binding is extremely disappointing. The old version was actually Smyth Sewn in signatures, whereas this version is merely glued. In addition, the new version is triple the price on Amazon - $45 versus $15. A crying shame. Rebinding *might* help somewhat, but only if they can manage to sew the pages. They should release a true bible quality version of this flawed gem.

I'm not sure, I don't know how the thompson chain bible works

How is this book holding up so far? I've read reviews saying that the book is falling apart on them already. Which is keeping me from buying it right now. Great review. Cheers!

With alot of use id say it's not gonna last, I'd probably continue to use the blue letter bible app they use it for cross references and it's free

This comment is not a criticism of WordNerd at all, it's a word of caution about what I noticed. I'd never heard of this book until this morning, so I found a copy online and the very first page says in Genesis 2:2 instead of God resting on the 7th day, the 6th day "is probably the true reading." So I probably won't read any more of it. There is such a big push to cast doubt on God's Holy Word. It's not a new tactic, it's the same one the serpent used in Genesis, "Yeah, hath God said?"

I have a question about the free study guide. What do you mean when you find “strong numbers?” I believe I saw it in the depth study guide and Topical study guide.
@TheWordNerd9 ай бұрын
A strongs numbers is the number associated to the Greek or Hebrew word. Original done by Mr. Strong. It helps to look at the individual words and how they were translated to the English

Hi! Do you recommend the printed version of the New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge? I've read some reviews on Amazon that their books is falling apart. Thanks
@TheWordNerd4 ай бұрын
I probably wouldn't recommend the printed version, the blue letter bible app has it for free on their app. It's a great resource but I dnt like how the physical one is made

Yikes, that previous version was eye-bleedingly bad. It's almost like publishers put things out but don't think of the real humans that will be using it.
