You can definitely work in a liquor store at 16, you have to get a workers permit along with a TAM card. At least here in Vegas you do.

Vegas is a world of itself honestly, you can pretty much do whatever the fuck you want In most states is at least 18 years old to work in a liquor store, 20-21 to bartend 7 states out of 50 allow for 16yo to sell alcohol, but some of them only for specific types, like beer or wine
