I really want to know if he gets all disappointed at himself when he suddenly realizes and researches adrenal 20 minutes after hitting hive. We need to get to the bottom if he’s just intentionally not researching it. Caught a pig cast recently that said over on Winters casts, Shin not getting adrenal glands has become a meme. Maybe winter just only casts adrenal-less Shin games. We need answers!

@@eldenbling2615 yes! Late and early units are the most difficult to balance but they amplify the importance of striking a balance between strategy and tactics. It’s also Protoss’ biggest issue, which used to be a strong point.

Discounted hatcheries gave me a really cool idea. What if all/most zerg buildings were similar to creep tumours and had an ability to make another of itself at a discounted price. The range would be limited, you wouldn't need a drone, and the most 'expensive' component would be an increased building time or time that isn't spent researching upgrades or building units. It'd make the whole 'hive' thing way more natural, especially with multiple hatcheries in the same area.

@rmelzhim6033 truly an idea that should be explored. If Terrans can call down health for their depots and Protoss get Energy recharge, it would be safe to assume zergs would like a cool new switch up that doesn't involve the queens. (As a zerg player, I hate the Hydra dash. It's stupid looking and barely impactful, plus they stole from the hydra speed upgrade to give us this. It might not be a nerf. But it looks and feels like crap)

I think I know why shin is so good, he's basically the opposite of serral. Serral gets to the point where he can bank indefinitely, shin never has more than a 1000 in the bank because he's constantly throwing things at the opponent and macroing perfectly to replace that.

So SHIN is ragnarok.....no wonder why I just can't force myself to think he is good, his zerg is like losing 90% of the time in a game but just somehow wins the game with random attacks without any form of clear advantage. He is clearly not gifted like Dark or Rogue but just somehow can pull off certain games that can't even be won by Dark or Rogue. He is like the main character in an anime who wins with friendship and love of the zerg army.

If you ask me, an ultralisk with the speed upgrade on creep should outrun damn near anything but like hellions or zerglings. Being on creep means the Zerg should have an advantage, and it’s one of the latest game units Zerg can have, why should a tier 1 Terran unit have any form of advantage against a super late game fully upgraded unit on creep?

I believe the idea is that some T3 units are meant to be countered by some T1 units, otherwise they wouldn't have a counter. However in T's case, the marine counters or deals reasonably wel with just about everything which is conceptually idiotic.

I need someone to explain this to me, seriously and legitimately from a position of knowledge, not mere speculation. Terran vs Zerg. Marine medivac versus ground-only army. The medivacs pull units out of attack range. WHY don't Zerg players mix in a hydralisk or two into their forces for anti-air? Even if it's not going to take medivacs down in a single volley, at least you'd be discouraging them from sticking around, maybe slowly damage them over the course of the game forcing repairs and wasted resources plus being out of action for a while, right? Why not have a couple hydralisks, even as a quick reaction force to stay out of the main fight so they don't die but stroll up after the units get brought in to poke at them? The entire Terran strategy there is a purely ground force with VITAL air support, so why is there no anti-air included _*at all?_ Is it really so unthinkable to have hydralisks? I know they require their own extra building but even then having them means you can adapt if the Terran changes strategies on you, doesn't it? Are pros really so locked in to "template or nothing" mentalities? And I'm not mentioning queens for anti-air because I get it; they're too slow off of creep and while they can heal units it's nowhere near as effective as the Heal Beam Plane, so they're not the ideal unit for general attack use. But then again, why not have one along just in case, and if it can't keep up or you go off creep, oh well, it can catch up eventually? I know, I'm no kind of Starcraft 2 player, I'm old, and I played Protoss in the single online game I ever tried, but _these are pros,_ shouldn't they be able to do better than I could?
