The VOX Hand-Wired amplifiers offer the premium VOX tone, with all-tube circuitry and hand-wired construction. These amplifiers were designed with careful study of vintage VOX amplifiers, taking cues from the circuitry and cabinet specs.

This has been the most bizarre product roll out I’ve ever seen. The only available demos are of that guy shredding through the new wahs and AC30 at NAMM… radio silence besides that. A real head scratcher.

On the original ones and in the TV series and in my JMI 15/4, always the EF86 channel is/was the amazing, shining, outstanding part of the amps. The specs say: no EF86. I don‘t get it. And there is no word on one of the most important parts of an AC amp: the speaker! Everyone knows how important they are and how they get worse until totays production. This would be a feature: to make a special run of greenbacks and bulldogs with the sound of older production runs.

@@PedalPoopers Yeah, hopefully similar. I was looking at Canadian prices of the handwired line (old one) and the AC4 is $1100 with the AC15 at $2400. Hopefully this new AC10 is under $2000

my guess is china. i have a 50th anniversary HW AC15 from china that is now 16 years old that i've played every week, and the only maintenance i've needed was power tube and rectifier tube replacement, about $70 for quality parts.

I don't want to be nitpicking or anything, but I've been wandering why some people use the word tremelo, when it clearly says tremolo in every amp & pedal? Is it some sort of accent or something? English is not my native language.

@@Pitkde tremelo is a common misspelling of tremolo - easily done when browsing and typing on the internet very late at night when not entirely awake... However if enough people do it often enough, and few readers care to be too pedantic in pointing out the error, that's the magic of how a language can evolve... So, safer to stick with ''Trem'''...
