Sparked by the sight of animal heroes from David's environmental missions that are painted in Lisa's clay dishes, David is asked about his Dolphin friend, Paladin, who he is about to pay a visit to. When David was young, his parents took him on an ocean holiday. While admiring the water, a giant wave carried him out to sea. His was rescued and protected by Paladin who also guided a human ship through treacherous waters. Upon David's return to family and friends, the Gnome King awarded the Dolphin with the title, Aqua Knight. David visits Paladin every year.
