If you want to make CBs competitive, wait for Rainbow Dragon Zenith CB to be released over here. A simple 2 card combo of Crystal Bond + Crystal Blessing (both of which can be swapped with Rainbow Bridge, effectively giving you 6 copies of each) will give you, for a Crystal Beast deck, a very solid opening play. -Activate Crystal Bond, add Sapphire Pegasus and place Zenith in S/T. -Summon Pegasus, place 2nd Zenith in S/T. -Activate Crystal Blessing to summon Ruby Carbuncle from Deck, summon 2 Zeniths. GOING FIRST: -Overlay the 2 Zeniths for Hope Harbinger Titanic Galaxy, link Sapphire and Ruby for Verte Anaconda...you know how to get Dragoon from here. GOING SECOND: -Link Ruby and Sapphire for Masquerena, overlay Zeniths for Number 97: Draglubion, use effect to summon Number 100: Numeron Dragon with Titanic Galaxy attached, go for the Numeron Dragon OTK. If the OTK fails, use Masquerena to go into Link-4 of choice during your opponent's turn.

For the budget players out here: Crystal Tree + Bond + Rainbow Bridge = Crystal Abundance OTK Field spells: either Mystic Mine or Necrovalley to stall games Crystal Bond + Rare Value = draw 2 (I think rare value is really neat) Scapegoat/Summoner Monk = easy XYZ & link summons Pot of Avarice = trigger Ultimate Crystal Magic multiple times NB! Ruby triggers any way it's special summoned, even monster reborn will get you a full board and it's not OTP!

WOW ive never seen this type of deck before. I main crystal beasts and always kinda saw them as more combo and less control oriented, but it's interesting to see just how many traps are in the deck. The cry beasts deck I play doesnt use any and I dont even play overdragon! my main two beater boss monsters I try to get out are rainbow neos and utopia summoned off of utopia double so Utopia is risky because there are quite a few ways it could get a negate to the face, but i usually play verte with neos fusion and rainbow neos. ill have to add that xyz monster you brought out in combo 1 though because doubling rainbow neo's attack is pretty insane due to its already cracked effect. I play on master duel, so at the time of posting, I know verte was banned in the TCG but not master duel. Im thinking of playing a small predaplant engine with predaprime fusion and chimera to chain off neos fusion on chimera's death since chimera is a pretty good banisher, and free rainbow neos when it kicks it

Almost all of Sam's decks hurt because he makes them with the best Staples and max Rarities. Those cards alone usually are like $500+.

If you don't use Verte or REF, you basically have only Muddy Mudragon, which is pretty hard to pull off, maybe Dark Hex-Sealed Fusion, both of which wouldn't get the grenades. I think it is slightly better in Red-Eyes simply because of Red-Eyes insight searching Red-Eyes Wyvern, you can revive a Dragoon on your opponent's EP.

The problem is those boss monsters aren't even competitive assuming you had the means to bring them out. Nobody is going to attack under Mirror Force Dragon (better off surprising them with any other Mirror Forces), and Doom Virus are too different as well, plus CCV isn't that amazing since most Boss monsters negate or float and main deck monsters are often weak hand traps (Eradicator is the best, hitting Spells turn 1, Deck Devastation is pretty decent, hitting Hand Traps and engine starters, both of which are only playable in Lair of Dankness decks) Hermos is best as Red-Eyes B Dragon Sword aka Axe of Despair from 2015. Timaeus is best for bringing out Dragoon in DM decks, that's about it. They don't really do anything.

I've been trying this with very poor results. The crystal beasts themselves are too weak and probably about half the time my special fusions sums get negated. should i be trying to go first or second? and should i use my neos fusion first opportunity or what? would love to see some in game examples vs certain things
