Just an FYI, there are 2 Deck Profiles in this video. 1st one mainly focuses on resolving True Name, while the second focuses on summoning out the gods the very first turn. I also showcased combos for both. Please have a look and stop jumping to conclusions that this isn’t a god deck. If you want to play structure deck Egyptian gods, please check out the budget profile on the channel. I built and optimized this deck to be the most competitive version of the gods. Not everyone is going to like it but if you’re looking to have fun and at-least get a few wins here and there, this in my opinion, are the 2 best routes to go towards. It's pretty amazing that these once hard to summon gods are now so easy to summon. Here's a couple of easy summon strategies. 1. Soul crossing with your opponent's monsters. 2. Egyptian god slime brought out with Mother Grizzly into Gaurdian slime. 3. Egyptian god slime brought out with Reactor Slime into Metal reflect slime. 4. 3x Ra's desciple combo with Ancient chant. 5. Reactor slime combo with Ancient chant. 6. 3x Ra's deciple Soul crossing combo. 7. Slime reactor Soul crossing combo.

Thanks I'll keep these in mind. I had a weird idea picture ancient Yami. Like Egypt era. With exodia and the 3 ancient gods. Thinking I might be able to make it work by hybridizing it with spellcasters. Need deck burn essentially in either draw or send to graveyard with a solid set of return strategies. Draw speed helps with slifer, and can work with spellcasters. Also lines up well with a controll based deck to help you get them out graveyard return or reshuffling graveyard into deck. And lifegain to make ra huge if need be. You have spells to special summon alot of spellcasters that are deck leader tier and the God cards except ra but other ways to set that up. Exodia is a win con and scare tactic, and necross makes it usable from graveyard. Potentially early win cons but also stall build with huge combo possibilities snd multiple ways to get to win cons. Built around a larger deck size and not being as worried about getting to specific cards to generic draw strats and related burn and return set ups also helps against deck out builds which can help you. Few slimes could make it easy. Extra deck being more built up now then just a fusion deck would make it easier as well. Think they see an exodia piece hit the graveyard with spellcasters and think it's an exodia fringe deck built to be meta level. But then see a God card hit the hand or grave yard and have no clue. Exodia necross them leaving them to think the God card they saw is win con 2. Hit them with a different God while they focus on trying to shutdown the options they've seen.

I like slifer the best, but it seems like obelisk is usually the best option. By the time I actually get to summon my Egyptian gods, I usually only have like two or three cards in my hand. Making obelisk a little stronger

The True Name really works well with dark magician because you have 6 copies of cards to know your top deck that is also searchable by Magician's Rod making it 9. 3 Dark Magical Circle and 3 Soul Servant.

Me too, though I found the gods a bit bricky and didn't contribute enough like 2+ yrs ago, now this deck profile seems so familiar outside of IDP and TT traps. I think I'd probably use Summon Limit over them because I would want to keep Slifer on the field as long as possible since before it was just a free 7k beater that died at the EP. I still think the Gods should get Errata's but Soul Crossing is the Soul Exchange they always needed for sure.

i always admired the dark magician version, soul servant made it so easy. I use the numeron engine. using cards like memories of hope, saryuja, and pot of avarice really draws into the deck deep for your pieces, getting fist of fate or thunderforce attack combo setup really easy. also benefits as the numeron monsters can be treated as easy tribute fodder, and otk potential if the opponents board is easy enough. plus having bosses like megaclops and chaos one makes easy alternative answers.

Made a similar deck myself before these new decks came out. I use strong trap monsters as well low level monsters that are immune to destruction of battle. I even have all of the gods, ra’s alternate forms, and all of the Divine support 😁

The only things I'm not a fan of and honestly sam hit it on the head with need better support is that no matter what build we would use, we have to jump through so many hoops just to search out the gods, also they are like sprinkles just to show off, not viable to get out and be actually competitive sigh other than that, it's a decent profile

Hero Kid is good since if you summon one you can summon as many from your deck Scape Ghost is good to since your can summon as many tokens Ra’s Disciple same effect as hero kid Marshmallon, can't be destroyed by battle, inflicts 1000 damage to your opponent so if you played 3 and they attack they get 1000 damage so times it by 3 3000 damage You can also run a junk deck system since you can summon 4-5 monsters in one turn that sacrifice 3 to summon whatever god card Gold Sarcophagus is good since you don’t need to wait two turns for it to be back in your hand

If you are being genuine with this question then I can assume you are a new or returning player who liked the anime back in the day. If not you baited me good ggs. No, the first deck list he is using you get about 3% of the cards needed to make the deck from the structures, and to get the rest of the cards needed you are looking at about $800 minimum. If you are willing to pay that you will get a deck that will be good casually but is very likely to have a piece of it banned in the near future, and is unlikely to do well if you ever want to enter a tournament. If you want to get into the game with a deck from the anime there are a lot of other options that are better and cost less money. off the top of my head.. Buster Blader, Blue-Eyes, Jinzo, Gaia the Dragon Champion, Harpies, XYZ Dragon Cannon, Black Luster Soldier, and Thousand-Eyes Restrict are all monster from the original series that have better and cheaper decks than this that wont become unplayable when dragoon is banned. If you like any of the other anime series there are tons of others too.

I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh meta wise and banlist wise & just collect/play unlimited formats and traditional. It's much more fun using anything I want and the decks you see are always something someone just wanted to have fun with.
