The dev is just a straight up con artist. He has 3 other games, only two have been released, this game and a colony simulator called Valkum. Both are unfinished unplayable messes. The other two were scheduled to release on the same day of the same year, and never have. The devs Twitter doesn't exist anymore (I think) and as far as I'm aware the website he used to advertise his games doesn't exist either

When I was a junior in college I had my first class in the Science building (history major woop) and I got horribly lost. I had to text all my science friends for help. Finally got to my Astronomy class half way through even though I had given myself twenty minutes before hand to find the damn room. Turns out I was not the only one lost. Besides the couple science majors/minors I was only the second of 15 to find the room. My astronomy teacher said he was imoressed I kept trying since most everyone else had emailed him giving up already. We then watched videos about Space Kittens for the rest of the class period. (Also turns out that the new number plates the consteuction dudes had put up were all wrong so that didnt help.) For the next class he had emailed everyone a detailed map and directions to find planetarium. So basically, yeah. College buildings can be weird.
