All I’ve thought to myself throughout this situation was that I really hope bunnies are ready to open up their wallets to buy albums and stream their music when/if they eventually redebut. I think this was all a perfect storm. They all started as teenagers involved with a truly narcisistic woman, away from their parents and they most likely felt the world was in their hands, lots of fame, money and success but without some true guidance from someone that genuinely cared for them, could make anyone in their position do stupid stuff, specially if you are a teen. We all did stupid reckless stuff when we were teens and later on as adults we realized it was indeed not rebel, but plain ass stupid. I know later on they will look back at this time and make sense of what truly was happening and the dumb moves they made and that they were in fact played by that woman, as lots of us later come to realize we were taken advantage off by the adults in our lives when we were teens. I still believe it's a sad situation but oh well, play stupid games and win stupid prizes. I think the saddest part of it is their own fans cheering them on while seeing them taking part on this whole ass chaos, it's like watching a car crash in slow motion and clapping and cheering. If anything, if you truly loved them and cared for their music and artistry as a fan you should try and shake some sense into them, as being a third person and watching from the outside gives you some perspective.

First New Jeans members signed with ADOR. Also ADOR signed with HYBE. However that's not meaning, that New Jeans signed with HYBE. They are saying HYBE did, or HYBE didn't, in fact HYBE shouldn't be in any sentence related with the 5 fugitive idols from ADOR. Second KMKA, didn't intervene in that matter because HYBE is a big company, they and not only they, but are two more kpop professional entities which made declarations, all kpop industry is concerned because of the media play, and the impact that the 5 fugitive idols irational actions have on kpop stability, gave by the contracts between idols and labels. So, no matter it's about the biggest company or the small one, the way how NJ idols are behaving regarding to their seven years signed contracts with ADOR, is what the industry is blaming. KMKA would've made the same statement for a smaller company because their interests are affected. In fact I don't think they are taking HYBE's side, they are covering their ass. Because, even is obviously that it isn't about mistreatment in ADOR's case, there are idols who are mistreated and abused in kpop. What is really sad, is that in the future when really mistreated idols will come publicly with their real sad stories, the public and industry will see them as liars, or just not trust them in the beginning, so it will be harder for them to seek justice.

I don't know who is following them, or not. What matters are the big players in the industry. It doesn't matter if all the idols in kpop back them, because truth be told everyone of them can be replaced. The big powerful players in the industry will not let these entitled idols ruin the kpop industry even if on a very slim chance there is a rogue judge, who will not judge according to the laws in SK, rules in those gals' favor. Contracts are in place for a reason, and are not child's play.

It's a bold and risky move for NJ to jeopardize their position at Hybe just to reinstate MHJ at ADOR. How can they walk away from a contract based on unproven, one-sided claims? They seem to think the issue will resolve if NJ members don’t take legal action, but that’s naive. That deman was what started all this, this circus is her covering the fact she was legaled demanded for trying to damage Hybe and take them with their label from Ador. With them. Hybe seems to be trying to play by the book but do not get that one wrong, they are biding their time, as the girls keeps breaching their contract it will become easier after they do a fatal mistake to proove that they are the one responsable for all this and the members will have to paid even more than their termination fees but all the damge they created to Ador, Hybe, Illit and all the legal fees for them plus their own legal fees and maybe a fee that the court give them plus huge legal ban from them working on Korea or even use anything related to their involvement with Hybe.

May be a little correction. Their actions will have consequences if the court gives verdict that NJ are in wrong. But until we get the verdict it is all speculations of ours that they are in right or wrong. I think there is some level of difference here in understanding of contracts. A contract can be broken by one party if the party assumes it has gotten violated. Then it becomes the responsibility of second party to enforce it through legal way if it isn’t violated. So what they’re doing is normal from legal stance but not usually seen in K-pop industry. Technically speaking they're not in any contract with ADOR until court says that they are still in. I think this case is not about HYBE win or NJ win, it's about how people are reacting to new way of handling contract. And also based on what it is mentioned in the video, it shows that the entertainment industry won't let you be if you do something unorthodox or try to break free from contracts which is a bit unfortunate. May be this case might not be the ideal one to talk about it, but also part of it.

But that's not how exclusive contracts work in South Korea. Newjeans can terminate their contracts if there is a breach but it has to be something significant. After that they have to give the other party, in this case Ador, a grace period of 14 days to correct the breach and if the issues are not rectified go to court and get their contract legally terminated by a judge. Newjeans doesn't fulfill any of the requirements. All eight of their demands were stupid. Ador and Belift are different companies, Ador cannot force a belift employee to apologize to Hanni. They requested, belift refused. The girls cannot ask Min Heejin to be reinstated as the CEO, they don't have right to do that. They keep saying Ador is not protecting them but forget giving evidence they cannot even make a proper statement and just tell everybody for once what is this protection they keep talking about and from what. There has not been a significant breach from Ador's side. They gave the company a 14 day grace period but arranged a press conference before they got a response from them. Ador sent a 20 page email explaining how they acted on every single one of their demands. When asked about it in the press conference they just simply said the response is insincere. They never actually wanted to resolve the issues. They refuse to engage in any conversation with the company to resolve anything which they are legally required to do before they terminate the contract. And most importantly they refuse to go to court to get a legal termination. Legally, the exclusive contract between Newjeans and Ador is still valid. They are still going to their schedules and using all of Ador's resources. It's not really Ador's responsibility to enforce the validity of this contract but they are choosing to do that.

Just on personal preference if they are written the way you said, that means a party can exploit other party because it's tough to prove mistreatments and stuff which will lead to bans or unwanted hiatus etc.,. But, I won't conclude to that decision until I can have a look at them. Because I don't want to blindly say companies are wrong at the same time artists are wrong. My only 2 comments or you can say speculations are for below 1) 14 day period they kept press meet after the working hours of 14th day. So, I think it should be okay!!! Not sure though. 2) They are using Ador resources because they are fulfilling contracts written through Ador. If they are using them outside of it like for new individual contracts then it is definitely bad/illegal. I don't want to comment on the other conditions of them because I don't know what they've done or have up sleeve on either side.

NJ could have gone to court if they needed any compensation or rights to songs, which they dont want. 3. NJ can terminate contract unilaterally , as per Korean Standard Contract Article 16, Paragraph 1' 4. Also they are just fulfilling pre scheduled activities with Ador , its till december end . 5. Ador have applied for confirmation of the contract termination. It is simply legal procedure in which Ador will get official documents. 6. Ador havent filed case against NJ , nor Ador said even once NJ have violated contract. In South Korea, terminating an contract involves following a strict legal process. This is the standard for an exclusive contract. Further when the contract ends there is a ban on the reproduction or sales of similar content by the new agency for three years. All this is illegal.
