From the sound of it he's great... if you've gotten 3 copies of him. That's a lot to ask for some players if I'm honest. I'm still trying to finish my Clara in ripples, and my club is already overstocked on wind esper wishes.

a part of me really hates that some espers like Yc and Sally are not really viable until a certain resonance. yes, they can do work, yes they can do whatever the fuck, but sally and yc are completely different units with their respective resonances. i’m lucky that i used my free resonance + club shards for my babyboy ahmed because he also is a wild unit at r2. my problem with yc and sally is that unlike ahmed that had a strong kit already, yc and sally are heavily outclassed by other espers in their field. ahmed isn’t. he’s the hardest burst healer + hp ceiling cleansing + provides cooldown res. he’s not exactly replicable when he’s the one that’s needed. yc has high potential to be a tank meta shredder but only until r2. otherwise he’s mid af in arena. same with sally. sally r6 is just a complete beast for a tank meta, but prior to that…. why would you bring her over jjy or clara? it sucks bc yes there’s now a system for getting dupes to get those resonances, but until you do… you kinda just have a sitting duck. and if you’re like me who just wants characters bc they’re cool, you kinda don’t get much more than just that: a cool character. so either i have to res them and expend my pity that maybe could be used for a future cool character, or just have him sit there be mostly useless. not to mention… so many fucking wind fighters. i already have ophelia and ashley. what would be the point of resonating yc when ashley + ophelia still are better 🙃 yc is not going to be meta in pvp since he relies on his debuff. and in tank meta where there’s a fuck ton of cleanses, immunity, and infernos……. well, good luck charlie.

Daddyf2p, I was wondering your opinion on devs making espers un-useable without reso? Being that "f2p" is in your name, I would have to think that you'd feel it a bit unfair to make new espers that cannot be used unless they have reso. Then what makes it even worse is that most don't even get a good reso until r2, meaning you now need to pull 3 copies of said esper to make them viable, not just 2. Do you have an opinion on this issue?

I agree bro, this is totally unfair. I managed to summon one copy as f2p, however making him practically useless at R0 means that does nothing for me bc he's not able to be used until R2. The odds of me getting 2 more copies are low at best, but more accurately infinitesimal. So I'm stuck with an esper who is not able to be used. This whole update was p2w or only helping old players who already have tons of built espers with reso already. What a joke!

If you manage your ressources carrefully you can obtain a good amount of summons and get a decent amount of copies

I was able to R2 him and it increased my Sentinel Hunt score from 3.5 Million to 7 Million. So he doubled my score just by adding him to my second team.

am i the only one who had trouble with gold and exp after the patch? the dev need to fix it ultra fast. Ripple box and practice are gone. To make it even worse, the wish feature is only for *5 that we already obtained

I used him for TT45 against the JJ boss and surprisingly, his debuff was able to land on the demon mode JJ. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but that was really interesting. Also, Aneisidora's box triggering on the enemy's turn makes the dog attack them, not sure if poison works the same.

I use it with No Reso on Darkstar and get a much better score from 3.5k to 5.6k I cant go for R2 Yun Chuan, but he’s very useful for me at least

With Yun Chan reso with the 15+ element boost gives him a 75+ element boost in Fafnir😮

Tried him with Zeus and also Astral Witchcraft Zeus set makes him a menace in pvp and tower. While AW makes him suited all round everywhere but desolateland since third eye seal won't stick there. He would eats all of fafnir's stack by himself though. He's a fun sub dps to use.

@DaddyF2P Seems like you don't fully understand sentinel mechanics. Let me explain, DSL doesn't gain immunity in his phase 2 at all, that is only in phase 1 with his big team swipe attack. He can steal it from you whenever he attacks if you have immunity and he crits. When he crits he can steal your buffs, and every turn he takes he tries to cast crit up to himself, and then before his smash he will cast atk up. That is why buff blocking him constantly is so important for a good score. WIth atk down debuff applied and if you have def up smash will only do 5-6k per esper, otherwise it goes up to 20-30k which can just one shot your non tanky espers. As for Yun Chuan, it's a sign that we're getting new espers that are effectively useless at r0, and you have to get multiple copies to make them function at all. This is a very slippery slope and will end this game in the long run.

a good thing to point out is that he always has missrate on the bosses from first skill which now with how they pushed us to mono element teams (to promote varriaty and diversity ofc) it means bosses can never crit or debuff u if you're fast enough since that debuff is additive from my understanding and experience

Yo DF2P Yun does steal JJ stand off. I tried many times. As long as yun has enough speed, the dog takes standoff and JJ dies from the damage. No need to have a loki all the time
