When the flowers die back, clip the plant down to about 2 inches and cover. Usually they will come up in spring with watering. Save the fountain grass. It's great in landscaping.

You can replant all those in the landscape.. mums come back so do most grasses and they are very cold tolerant. She has great taste!!! 😊

I just did a bath remodel for a client. They picked the dark blue vanity cabinets with the gold fixtures and handles. I wasnt sure what to make of it. It looked good but im not sure its "neutral" enough not to go out of style again since the 1980s it was everywhere. I guess brass/gold is coming back into style? Weve done multiple BLUE vanity cabinets for people this year. They SCRATCH easily FYI.

You will have a lot of weight pushing your forms apart when pour in the concrete. We used to drill holes through the forms from one side to the other and then insert 1/4 inch threaded rod inside 1 inch conduit to stop the forms from separating (washer and nut on the outside). The 1 inch conduit will keep the forms apart at the correct distance. Leave the conduit in the concrete after the pour and remove the threaded rod.

If we have an exposed water line outside and it’s temporary, we put pads of hay on the line and lay them tight against each other. That seems to work very well. We have a farm,so, bales of hay are plentiful.
