The Next Economic Crisis Has Started: The Secret Stock Market Bubble

This is was the average GDP growth of the global economy in 2019 (3.1%)
This is the GDP drop we saw during the financial crisis of 2008.
This is the GDP drop that we saw during the worst parts of great depression.
And THIS is what the economic darling of singapore had just gone through in the last 3 months alone.
A 41.2% drop in Gdp was the largest plunge of a major economy since…
The UK had a 19.1% GDP plunge that was reported just a few weeks ago.
And Canada having nearly a 19% plunge with that number expected to be even worse as more economic data is reported.
And those are just some of the countries that have reported some economic data in the last 3 months. Countries like the united states, haven’t reported their numbers recently.
But regardless, what has amazed me is that just 5 months ago, economists and investors were worried about if we would see a 1% growth rate in a quarter, versus a 1.2% growth rate in a quarter. And that small 0.2% difference in GDP would have a tangible effect on things like the stock market, interest rates, and real estate.
And yet, these 19 to 40% plunges that we are seeing are being completely written off by investors. I mean, since march 23rd, the stock market has risen by more than 44%.
So why is this all happening? And what will we see going forward? Well, this is what I like to call the economic waterfall.
You see. The economy is like a bunch of different ships that are floating along different points of a river. Meaning that not all aspects of the economy will reach the end of the river and go over the waterfall at the same time.
For example, the financial crisis of 2008 actually started in 2006. You see,2006 was actually when the real estate bubble began to burst. That is when we started seeing the rapid increase in mortgage delinquency rates, and foreclosures on homes.
However it wasn’t until mid 2007, that we started to see the first bankruptcies from the financial crisis.
And then finally in 2008 after years of poor economic indicators from the financial sector and the real estate market... we finally saw the stock market crater, and unemployment numbers skyrocket.
All this means is that certain parts of the economy reached the end of the river and fell over the waterfall at different times. And we are seeing something similar today, just at a much more rapid pace.
In March we began to see the slowdown in manufacturing, and the increase in unemployment.
In April and May we saw the top lines and bottom lines of businesses begin to be dramatically affected.
And in June and July, we have now started to see one of the worst economic indicators go off the waterfall, and that is bankruptcies.
You see, when businesses began to lose their revenue in April, we started seeing those same businesses burn through their savings, and simultaneously take out loans in order to get through these troubling times.
But after months of businesses like restaurants, hotels, and travel companies seeing their revenue being 30% or less of what it once was, we began to see many of these companies run out of money and declare bankruptcy.
And What’s frightening is how quicky these bankruptcies have been accumulating.
You see, In April of this year, bankruptcies were actually down by about 40% compared to average over the last several years. but now we have seen back to back months in May and June where their are 50% more bankruptcies than normal.
In fact, we have just started to see the very beginning of this bankruptcy surge, yet it is already the worst we have seen since the financial crisis.
So who is going bankrupt? Well here are some of the biggest name brands that you might know.
One of the largest Franchisee’s in the world...NPC international...who runs over 1200 pizza hut’s and 400 wendy’s...has recently filed for bankruptcy, citing that they have become unable to make payments on their $1 billion dollars worth of debt because of the loss of revenue from the lockdowns.
Hertz which is a car rental company that was once worth over $20 billion dollars, recently filed for bankruptcy with 25 billion dollars in assets.
Latam airlines is another multi billion dollar company that has declared bankruptcy.
There’s also, Neimann Marcus, which is actually owned by the canadian government, but that’s a whole different story.

Understandable. Now is the time to hold on to real money anyway. Investing 20% of your assets in gold, silver, or other precious metals (and possibly a little cryptos if you feel like gambling) would maintain your wealth in a currency collapse. Danielle Di Martino Booth Socialism Coming to America. 15 OCTOBER, 2020 Danielle Di Martino Booth back to the program. Danielle is the CEO and Chief Strategists for Quill Intelligence, a research, and analytics firm. She discusses the rapidly growing debt paradigm and why the Fed believes they can increase debt faster and faster without consequence. Now they need Congress to pass additional stimulus programs to maintain the system. These stimulus programs keep the stock markets levitated while the idea of "Don't fight the Fed" is suppressing and stifling competition and innovation. Today, the country that grows it's balance sheet the fastest can also devalue their currency the quickest. The worst-case scenario is stagflation, and in that environment, gold heads higher but buying power declines rapidly. Danielle Di Martino Booth “Socialism Coming to America.” She outlines the risks of throwing money at people who aren't working. There is a spiral of demand destruction that will lead to losses in higher-end jobs, further reducing consumption. Tensions are building in the United States, and mortgage delinquencies are going to go through the roof. Many of Washington's decisions are due to the elections, and those actions will be tough to reverse. This will likely lead to some form of permanent universal basic income. Americans will naturally be okay with UBI unless presented with an alternate plan such as massive infrastructure spending.

@Tennessee Country boy Right, it takes time for the beast to die. UNDER CAPITALISM, EVERY PENNY OF A BILLIONAIRES FORTUNE IS A PENNY OF UNPAID WORK THAT SOMEONE ELSE PERFORMED. Capitalism is based on freedom ? Capitalism is based on on money and failure Wealth is fueled by debt, and debt grows faster than the economy. When I have asked a few simple questions of the investor types, not a single one will answer my questions. This leads me to believe that A) they never even looked at how capital gains are generated, or B) these investor types are perfectly willing to siphon off the wealth of the bottom 90% or get bailed out by the U.S. Treasury in order to get capital gains. Either way, capitalism is not the great freedom giver and poverty annihilator that the propaganda makes it out to be. Here is how I addressed my unanswered questions to investor types: For those of you who are commenting one way or another on the merits of investing, I would like to ask a question or two. When the sum total of financial assets ( "investments" ) in the USA top $90 trillion and the economy as measured by GDP is around $21.5 trillion, how do "investments" make 6 to 7 percent while the GDP only grows by 2.56% annually? With wealth being larger and growing faster than the economy, how does the economy pay off the dividends wealth earns?

thank you very much. I really enjoy the topics you choose for your videos. Keep it up. In relation to this video's topic, I feel it is impossible for the Fed to stimulate the markets forever. There are so many factors to consider for this to happen. So I still believe that sooner or later these stimulus will have to wind back, then we will see the correction to more realistic stock prices. In the meantime, some people are still making money by riding the stimulus waves. I have recognized my lack of ability to predict when a correction will happen, so I am mostly staying out of the game and just taking opportunities that fall within my investment strategies. Boring, not as rewarding but still potentially profitable. All the best.

I think the stock market will crash because it is soaring at unsustainable levels, and it's value is based off only a few companies, with only a handful of Investment Banks calling the shots and pulling real weight(your video on the topic was spot on). That coupled with fiscal stimulus and a fall in interest rates(which erodes savings and it's purchasing power) means that there truly is no place to store wealth other than in PM's which are soaring right now. I feel that this is a pretty week argument. How many of the companies that you cited in the beginning are apart of the S&P500? Companies are gonna go bankrupt, it's to be expected. The fed is money printing going brrrrrr is accelerating inflation, and investors are seeking safe haven stocks to put their money so as to not lose buying power. Stimulus keeps economies a float; see velocity of money; see Australian 2008 economic stimulus & it's related outstanding economic performance. Don't be scared, the world isn't going to collapse. We will rebuild.

Demand destruction. Deflation good if you have money. The good middle class jobs are on the block. Spending falls, Jobs fall, Profits fall, Companies FAIL Stocks plunge, Mortgages fail trumps GREAT DEPRESSION 2020 MAKE JOBS NOW.
