So I had this idea for the possibility of voice acting in the games: maybe they could do it like in Kingdom Hearts, only having voices in the major cutscenes and regular textboxes otherwise. Of course, there's still the issue that if the player chooses their own name, the other characters wouldn't be able to address them. But this could be fixed by either the characters not saying the player's name (either through nicknames/tittles or just not addressing them) or, as bad as it sounds, not letting the player choose their own name. Instead their is either a fixed name or a list you choose from.

I would love either a new mystery dungeon or better yet a new Pokémon Ranger! I’m sure they could figure out a way where you spin your joy con in a circle in the air to create the catching loops. I’d be so happy to get either or both while we wait for them to perfect the next mainline game.

Oh my god I didn't realize how much I needed voice acting in pokemon until that clip - I already loved this squad, but that made me love them even more! As much as I would love full voice acting, at least in cutscenes, I can very much see them being stubborn about it. So they could do it where you hear a clip of the voice of each character so you can get an idea for what they sound like, but don't have to have full voice work. It's the bare minimum, but it would be a nice change to at least just have an idea of what they sound like. They could even pull the PokeMas VAs if they wanted. Hell, if they really want to do as little as possible, they could keep the protag silent too. But man, especially after hearing that and seeing what they did with LoZ, Pokémon is so overdue. Though it makes me wonder if they would debut it in Gen 10 and/or in the Gen 5 remakes, especially since BW2 had a little bit of voice acting. Gen 10 feels like such a momentous thing for them that it would make sense to be on the new console AND to make a big update like voice acting, plus if they release it in two years, it would time perfectly with the 30th anniversary of Pokemon. BUT depending on when they release Gen 5 remakes, it would be a really nice callback to see where they started with BW2 to then having full voice acting in the next modern Pokemon game. Either way, I am team "please no new gen/main series game this year." Like I know they're still going to do Something bc they're obsessed with having a game every holiday season, but whether it's Gen 5 remakes, Gen 10, or Johto again, I just really want them to make sure it's as good as it can be. Though I think it would be hilarious if they throw an even bigger curve ball at us and announce like a Legends Kalos and Pokemon Z game.

the most intriguing part about potential black and white remakes is there's.. actually almost nothing that really needs to be changed other than the rather terrible exp system where it reduces the exp based on your level if your mon's level is higher than the enemy mon.(forces you to fight Audinos). sure they could easily put in pre-gen/future-gen mons in there with/updated moves, but I believe that'd take away BW's uniqueness of having solely its region's mons for the entire game. but on the upside, doing that would give more potential replay value overall. maybe give the pre-post-game E4, final N and Ghetsis competitive teams like how it was done in BDSP's final gauntlet(which's deff the only good part about BDSP that I don't think many people talk about more), then do the same thing for Alder+post-game E4. maybe throw in a post-game rematch with N and Ghetsis. other than those few changes I think BW's essentially, for the essentially 2nd game in the series with a actual sequel to it, (since gen 2 was the first sequel game.) perfect as is

I can see a more expansive version of Pokemon snap, more free roaming than just being stuck in a cart. More interactive with the Pokemon, being able to catch Pokemon to see how they behave when they're with you, taking certain Pokemon to different areas to get photos and maybe even being able to play as a Pokemon to get different scenarios that wouldn't happen if there was a human.

Switch 2 is rumored for this year, with reveal in march and premiere later this year. BTW I like all these ideas, especially more legends games and the synchro machine one, they would actually have to develop it a bit, but it looks like they are preparing the foundations for implementing this mechanic into regular gameplay

I think Pokemon as a franchise would benefit in general by spacing out mainline releases with more spinoffs series in between releases. Remakes are great too but I feel they’re leaving a lot on the table by not fleshing out the spinoffs, I love PMD and thankfully we got Rescue Team DX but that was almost 4 years ago. It’s sad they’ve gone the mobile route with the spinoffs because they can revisit a lot of series. Off the top of my head they have Conquest, Rangers, a New Snap(or newer one 😅), maybe even a new concept. Imagine a sports title with Pokeathlon and Unite gameplay for example. As for mainline titles I love the idea of a Legends Unova and a BW remake to close out gen 9, then B2W2 remade in gen 10. I enjoyed Pokemon Go but a Johto variant definitely would’ve made more sense in gen 8 since Sinnoh was remade and the connection between the two regions. However, I think Legends as a concept is an evolved version of Let’s Go and that series is a one off now; I’d love to see that are style incorporated going forward because I believe it’s their best one but at the end of the day it’s Gamefreak and they love to surprise us so who knows.

I like the idea of Pokemon Black Gold & Pokemon White Silver, I hope they do something along those lines as it fits with the theme of both games & having Celebi be the key to traveling back & forth would be the icling on the cake. Besides, both games are a little too short on there own, & this concept could explain why more Pokemon appear in Black 2 & White 2 with a twist no one could see coming. I doubt it will, but it still makes for a new way to improve on a game most overlook. If someone added in a feature where the Pokemon in the box would go out & find items for there trainers, with the items received being based on the friendship level of the Pokemon sent.

Paradox Swords of Justice make me think they’re going to do Unova games like “Pokémon Gr3y: L3G3NDS KYUR3M” for 2024 and it’ll be in the future to directly succeed SV (past & present themed) which directly succeeded Legends Arceus (occurred in the past). Paradox Beasts imply “Let’s Pokémon GO to Johto” for 2025, so Gen 10 drops in 2026 (30th anniversary + lets the Horizons anime have ~150 episodes and end when Gen 10 starts). Edit: Gen 10 revolutionized with voice acting

With most legendaries can be caught through the latest DLC, there wouldn’t be a main series’ product released this year. Either they make a big spin-off like the Legends or Let’s Go series, or they just take a break. (Probably they won’t dare to give their game to a third party dev since the BDSP rage). I think they should do a spin-off this year, but not something huge, an MD Remake might be too big to push right now. A Let's Go continuation seems plausible, wouldn't be surprised if Kanto was DLC though lmao. I would certainly be most interested in a threequel for gen 5 cuz I don't know how they could remake one game without dropping too much from the other. Unless idk they put the BW2 plot in the post game map? Still doesn't sound great given the time skip. Legends Kyurem is a MUST. And so is Legends Celebi tbh. There's so much lore of the deeper past in those regions to explore... I think generation 10 is still far away, just think how long we waited for a mainline Switch title. The amount of Unova callbacks pushes me towards gen 5 being first but I dunno.

I'd love a choice at the start of the game, or if each gym badge you get a new Gen of Pokemon becomes available. so you start with only Gen 5 but by the time your headed to the elite 4 almost anything is available Also for the lets go game wouldn't mind those being mind numbingly easy so kids still get to play while making the Pokemon games a little harder. of course it still has to be accessible to a younger audience but maybe just allow more choice, like opting out of Exp share and "your Pokemon refused to die cause hax"
