I'd want one of each. A regular cart for good weather and one of these for 90°+ humid days or rain. Cold weather doesn't bother me. In your case, it would make for better videos - no wind or engine noise. Just disconnect that turn signal beeper!

I bought the atomic coupe from Rob with the agm batteries but paid extra for lithium batteries to be installed when they came in stock . Rob would call every now and then to keep me updated . The batteries came in 9 months later someone came over picked up the cart put them in dropped it back off the next day . Rob is very honest and a great guy to do business with you would be very happy with one of these cars .

Good to know! How long can you go with the lithium batteries? I know they said 50 miles but was wondering if that was true. I was planning on buying a gas cart when I get to The Villages. We have a battery cart but I know we cant go 50 miles. More like 20. I am kinda done with worrying about the battery all of the time.

@@sewingstoryprojects6178 I can only say that with regular batteries in the cart i could go from hadley village which is kinda in the middle of the villages . I would go to brownswood square then to spanish springs back to hadley with a/c running while driving plus running a goodtime at the squares with about 25% left plus the hills would be tougher to go up as the batteries went down . The same trip is unbelievable no loss of power plus i would have 65% charge left . I have a yamaha gas which is good for carrying 4 people but i will take the atomic any chance i can over the yamaha no smell plus the a/c and heat is nice . I would also tell you if rob says 50 miles with a/c i would believe him . The guy was as honest as I've seen from any sales person .

Funny that just as you admit you're going the wrong way in the parking lot that the police siren kicks off in the background 🙂 I was surprised they're not more expensive. I recall you've mentioned some $15K carts before. Wasn't one of yours 11 or 12 (new) but you saved by buying used? I bet the irritating turn signal beep is so that many of the target market don't forget to turn their signal off.

great video, we have had our atomic coupe (same as the silver/grey cart) for 2 1/2 years and we love it. we kept our gas yamaha cart with curtis cab doors because we were sure we would use it when the weather was not super hot, well guess what, we have put less than 100 miles on it in the last 2 1/2 years. we use our atomic cart when we golf and love it, no problem because it has doors. one important thing for us you didn't mention is that these carts have 3 point seat belts just like a car. thanks again for another informative video

Hi Jerry and Linda. Well we did our Lifestyle visit Oct 25-Nov 1. We stayed in the Christopher Villas. Loved out little Villa and if we decide to make the move that is the model we want. We really want a private backyard for us and the fur baby. We drove our golf car over that Waterlily bridge a few times. As for the BBQ restaurant, we went there for dinner last Sat and being from Texas I did not think any BBQ could beat Texas BBQ. Well, let me tell you, that restaurant is amazing! We absolutely loved it! Of all the restaurants we tried this was the only one that is memorable. Take Linda there for lunch or dinner Sunday. You will not regret it. I had the Brisket sandwich which was melt in your mouth delicious! The French fries were HOT and crispy! The BBQ beans were great and not too sweet. The fried corn on the cob was fantastic! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was GREAT!. He had French fries and green beans. They have 5 or 6 different sauces and you help your self. One is mustard based I think. We did not have dessert but they looked delish! When we visit again it will be the first meal stop we make. I think we might buy in Marsh Bend just so we are close to that restaurant. Let me know what you think.

I live on a dirt road and have a much older 3 wheel golf cart which is perfect for my area. When my furbaby Bella was alive she loved to go for a golf cart ride. Love the video. I’m LOL about “I missed my turn”, “I do this a lot, probably going to have to turn around”. Welcome to The Villages! You should do a video dedicated to this aspect of life there. The homogenous landscape can be very confusing to begin with but add to the confusion the fact that GPS, including the one included in The Villages mobile app, is very unreliable and you have a recipe for unexpected adventure. You have to laugh and treat it like part of the experience or life could get stressful. If you’re in a relationship where there’s bickering about missed turns, roundabout etiquette, etc. pay attention to this reality during your lifestyle visit. You may have to budget for separate golf carts.

My son owns a Tesla electric car, so I am familiar how quiet they are. Surprisingly more powerful than I ever imagined too! I think I would prefer an open golf cart though after viewing this, since there are more beautiful Florida weather days than those horrible hot & humid ones. Our regular vehicle would be for those air conditioned excursions. Nice looking little vehicle though.
