I've owned a Nikon D750 since 2018 and it has been one of my favorite cameras. The photo quality from the Nikon D750 is superb!!

I had one!! Awesome DSLR. I only sold it because I got tired of carrying a lot of heavy gear. As a petite woman, as you age this becomes a big deal. Hence my love for M43! However, it is a low light beast! Thanks Grant

I upgraded to my D750 two years ago after finishing my Digital Photography Program. My profs all said get yourself a full frame camera. Research led me to this model and I am truly enjoying this model. So much to learn.

The d610 is also a great option for a lot cheaper. It doesn't come with a flip up screen but from what I've heard image quality is pretty similar to the 750. If your price range is closer to the D700, the 610 is a good middle ground. Also another nice thing about F mount is that it unlocks tons of vintage lenses which give you crazy high quality for way cheaper than a new af lens.

I bought the 750 d used but the shutter is defective. When the shutter button is released at the first start, the shutter locks and a error is set. I push the button a second time and it's fine. There is a light leak from the shutter blades that is visible in strong light. Probably it's a gray market model and Nikon doesn't support the shutter blade replacement when I applied for the recall. I can buy a shutter assembly in ebay for around $150 and replace the shutter.

It’s 2024 and I’ve been shooting with a D750 since it came out. I want another body so D850, D780, Z61-3, z7 ? Just bought a used D750 for $580 USD. By far the best value for what I shoot.

There are many things to appreciate about the D750. I enjoy night photography and I really like the results I get with this camera. The weather sealing, rugged build, and long battery life are features I have come to rely on for landscape photography in challenging conditions.

Thank you, sir for giving me more bias confirmation than I could possibly hope for. I upgraded from my beginner D5500 to the D750 a couple years ago, and I've been nothing but blown away ever since then. My Nifty Fifty 1.4G, 24-120mm 1:4G ED, and wild and wonderful 14mm 1:2.8 D have left me asking myself "what the hell else do I need in life?" Cheers mate, and thanks for the reminder of how good I have it 😁

I bought my D750 new in 2017 and have used it for travel to every continent. It’s not just the ergonomics, build quality, and great JPEGs - the low light performance is astounding. Would never get rid of this camera.

Just purchased mine second hand and it is part of the shutter recall so fixed and serviced i now have a new camera. Unbelievable. Lots to learn but love it

Nice Vid!!! 750 was my go to for photography!! I sold mine a few years back and jumped on the D850 train. Loved that cam too but miss it. I am gonna grab a 750 being they are so cheap! Ty &cheers for reminding me of the value.

I upgraded from a D5100 to D750 about 6 years ago. I still love my D750! I went to Yellowstone last weekend and took amazing photos of wildlife. Highly recommend for any folks wanting to enjoy a full frame DSLR. :)

I have a D300 with an 18-200mm Nikkor lens. I also have a D200, and they take good pictures. However, I now do most of my shooting with a Panasonic GH6 and GX8, so I haven't used the Nikons in a long time.

Hey Grant, came across your channel as I have just bought a 750 here in the UK for £500 used with 6500 shutter count, boxed with all the bits and it is as new. One thing I will say is that it is a low light beast, I am amazed how well it does in dark conditions, it feels great to handle and as you say the lenses available are fantastic, some really good buys at the moment. I have just treated myself to a 105 2.8 VR Micro for under £300 which is also boxed and in mint condition. I do not do video, just stills and this camera excels in that department. The Z series cameras are more geared up to video if you ask me so in effect I don't / will need to get one. Thanks for the vid. :)

I’m still using a d750! Not planning on upgrading anytime soon! I’m picking up 2k lenses for under $800! I’ve got some good stuff!

I bought the Nikon D750 when it was still being sold new in 2017 (originally released 2014 I believe) and it has proven to be an amazing camera for the time I had used it. It was my first ever full frame dslr and 2nd overall dslr, but after having the shutter replaced (178,000 clicks later) I have not used it as much. Also, I have invested in a lot of other cameras which also contributed to it not being used. If you can find one cheap with a low shutter count, get it.

There appears to be a significant (second hand) price difference between the D750 & D700 camera bodies, would you still recommend the 750 over the 700?

Just bought the D750 Like New cond. from MPB with only 5338 shutter actuations in original box including printed manual - remember those? Haven't gotten into using it yet. There seems to be this mystique about the D750 that finally sucked me in even though I have the D500 & Z7. It is a heavy camera body for a petite female in her 70's so I won't be walking around with it, but I do a lot pull over, park & shoot kind of thing. It will sit on the passenger's seat at the ready for whatever grabs my attention. I have the Nikon Zfc for a walk around camera.

My D750 is likeable. Though I just got a nice used D810, and in a couple of years will get a used D850, I'll keep the D750. I plan to have the D750 converted to full spectrum. My last thought is: I immediately noticed the higher resolution of the D810 photos, BUT, with a sharp prime lens and close subjects, the D750 does a good job.

I traded mine in awhile back for Fuji and I’ve missed it. but now I’m done with my Fuji phase. Just bought the Z6ii and now I can’t decide between z5 or d750 as my backup since the sensors are essentially the same with these 2. I’m leaning towards the d750 though.

The D780 is an interesting camera, seems like a crossover because in live view the camera functions similar to the Z6 mark 1.

I recently bought a Nikon z6ii. But I can't bring myself to get rid of my D750. I've had it for 6 years, and it's been so darn good to me. So I just rotate between the 2 cameras for all my photoshoots!!!!!

My D750 is used mostly for portrait work and it does a great job at that. However, its autofocus in video mode is wonky and unreliable. I've upgraded to the Fujifilm XH2s and love the built-in film sims and the autofocus in video is much faster than the Nikon. For news and documentary work, I only bring out the XH2s. The Nikon rarely comes out now. I know, the XH2s is APS-C but few can really tell the difference out there in photo viewing world.

Once you get a D750 it's a keeper, its built like a tank, it does everything you would want a Camera to do Full FRame Who ever has this Camera and it's in good Condition keep it. It's a Keeper ( it's Wonderful to have as a Back up Camera.!!! And the Memory Cards you can get anywhere and I mean anywhere, for cheap money.! Your nuts if you get rid of this Camera it's Truly a Titan.! Boston ❤️ Massachusetts

D750...my favorite dslr...I have bought and sold several...I understand the shutter mechanism is heavy duty like the d800 series...unlike the d600 610..d7200 7500 series....in fact I am currently considering repurchasing another to accompany my pair of sony a7s bodies.
