@Brandon Kick TBF, the NES isn't as "far inferior" to the SNES as people often tend to think... They essentially share the same processor and resolution, but Nintendo cheated around these limitations with extra graphical power, a Sony soundchip (an earlier version of the one used on the Neo-Geo and the PS1) and, of course, plenty of advanced mapper chips

@@thestripedmenace the snes CPU is quite faster than the NES one. Not only it have a big clock advantage (3.58/2.68 Mhz versus 1.78Mhz), as it can do "16bit operations". Well as in two quick successive 8bit operations, but it's still quite faster to use em than using two 8bit ops.

Man, this episode is where we missed Dave. Joe killed it as always, but the NES was Dave's jam. Would have been a great surprise guest host for a brief comeback. Love ya, Joe! Always one of the best gaming channels out there.

Fun fact, the way Joe says "Kage" sounds exactly like the brazilian portuguese word "Caguei" which translated to "I pooped"... See, told you this is a fun fact, you're having fun now.

Some of my favorites on the NES besides Mario and Zelda include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project. Both those games were, by and large, the closest to an actual Turtles arcade game experience you can get on 8-bit Nintendo hardware...

Not my first game console as the honor goes to the Mattel Intillivision, and Vic-20 computers(got them around the same time), it's by far one I've had some of the most fond memories with of course next to my C64. I still play my original system after having retrorbrighted it, did 10 NES chip mod, and blinking light win mods too it a few years back.

The NES was my first system…when I finally got it for Christmas when I was 9 years old I was elated…I had wanted it for 4 years up to that point since I played super Mario bros at a friends’ house…since then I have been a huge game fan and eventually a 3D modeler, animator and content creator. Thanks Nintendo for revitalizing and revolutionizing gaming❤

I want to add this to the review of Rad Racer: the turbo only needs to be held up until you reach max speed. After you hit 255 km/h, you can stop holding up and just hold the gas and you'll maintain the speed. You only need to use turbo when you lose speed.

One tip I discovered on Rush N Attack on how to avoid checkpoints when you die and start exactly from the spot you died...start a 2 player game and let the 2nd player run out of lives and once this is done, continue playing normally with player 1. You will notice that you will respawn in the exact spot you died from now on :)
