Ive had mine for almost one year now, it still puts a smile on my face every time i drive it. Its so raw and mechanical and unless you're a journalist who drives supercars all the time, its plenty fast. Its actually fast enough that you cant really use all the power around town, 2nd gear tops out around 110 km/h and 3rd tops out over 160 unreasonably quickly so you cant really floor it anywhere other than on the highway. 1/4 or 1/2 throttle pulls are more than enough to shove you in your seat and to make your non-car-person passenger ask "what is this thing?" Its also a great introduction to real/useless sports cars that are kinda tricky to drive and way too tail happy in the rain and suck at everything other than bombing down a dry twisty road. You have to focus otherwise it just exposes you. If you're a true car dork/idiot, these are all positives. Oh and it also has a widebody.

That price Spike for 370z almost for sure due to Nissan confirming that a new Z is coming. People are trying to scoop them up as it will be of the last reasonably affordable NA sports cars. I truly believe it will be a collectable in 5-6 years.

I had a 2011 370Z for about a year and traded it for a Cadillac ELR hybrid. I moved into a condo with no place to plug in the Caddy, so I sold it and went back to a 370Z since I really loved the car, but today you would be very hard pressed to find one for less than $15K. Most of them pretty much bottom out at around the $25K mark, and newer models are around the $30K mark and above.

The 350/370Z is my baseline on measuring sports cars. Anything better gets a “+”. Anything less gets a “-“. It is also well balanced. It feels “torquey” enough, but not a monster. Easy to control for a beginner and can be adequate in rain.

I can vouch for the 370z, I have had mine for 5 years now and every time I have to drive somewhere I just love the experience. I got the Z over other sports cars as all you see here in Australia are, BRZs, Mustangs (drives like a boat and is extremely unreliable), and WRXs. I wanted something that looked different. I have a 2015 Sports 370z (we do not have base option in Australia). I have never had an issue and I drive it hard occasionally. Warning though, it is not mentioned in the video but tires in this car naturally wear very quickly due to the way the suspension works, you'll need new tires roughly every 13,000 miles (21,000kms).

I daily drive an all-black 2019 370Z coupe 6M with the sport package. I put some stiffer Hotchkiss antisway bars on the front and rear which improved handling and responsiveness. The car is a blast to drive. Update: I've had a Stillen Gen 3 long-tube cold air intake, a Fast Intentions dual x-pipe cat back exhaust and a dyno tune done with Ecutek software. The car is now putting out about 387 hp at the crank. I've just installed a set of forged magnesium monoblock wheels by Litespeed Racing, for a weight savings of about 9 lbs per wheel over the OEM 19" Rays Engineering sport pkg forged aluminum wheels. Lightweight Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (240) tires have further reduced the unsprung rotational wheel weight.

@Syncreer visibility sucks. it's hard to get in and out. There is absolutely no room ( a milk jug has to be placed forward in the hatch to prevent being crushed). It's short wheel base makes it a bit of a handful of you're tossing it around (actually great under acceleration but if your not confident, there is too much weight forward and it wants to rotate). I had more fun in my late 80s CRX and 2007 RSX-S. Also, I did have a BMW M5 before my Z, so it felt rough and slow in comparison, so maybe some salt with my review. I drive a fiesta SE now 😩

Blue overlay instruments by ADD-W1 including the 3 pods, Eittar throttle controller, Heads up display, a Vantrue N4 dash cam, and custom color matched shift knob. No mods as everything still factory spec and serviced. Has Navigation, Bose, mirror LED turn signals, heated leather seats, and tinted windows. This Z is strictly a cruiser and one of a kind. I've found quite a lot that look to be in good shape on Cargurus/Carfax/etc that are in the 14-17k range at ~100K miles. Realistically if you wanna save even more money you can probably find '09-'10 models for 13-15K from 3rd party / private sellers. The thing is if they're maintained halfway decently, and not poorly modded, these cars are still highly reliable in the 100-200K range. I know 370z owners with 120K+ on it that have had the car since 2009-2010 and have never had an engine issue. Of course, that is IF. You're taking the gamble with these cars that you might get one from some old dude that thought cheapo oil every 30k miles is all it needs.

That was 2012 when I sold it and have had a few other fun cars since then but I want one again. ASnything older than 2013 where they fixed the oil heat issue. That is critical. The Akibono Brakes are a must, the base brakes are garbage. I love the center dash with the GPS. That care does not look good with an aftermarket radio. That is what I am looking for and will just spend the rest of the cash as Z1 making it perfect.

@@IdealMediaChannel As a 350z Nismo owner the Nismo is. Even Vs a 370z Nismo. but you also pay for it. Ive owned a 350z DE (2006) and a 370z 2010 and my current 2008 350z Nismo. Id take the Nismo any day of the week. Especially after modding. Better brakes is also subjective. They are just as good as the Bembos but the Brembos are significantly lighter. One of the reasons why the 350z Feels more connected. After exhaust mods the VVEL and .2L Displacement only nets 6-10HP more mod for mod. (350z is very exhaust restricted) hell you can put a 3.7L block under the HR heads of the 2007-2008 and gain that 6HP back. A Majority of the "Quickness" the 370z gets is the lower gearing that you can do a straight swap of. (3.7/3.9 vs 3.5 gears) If you were staying stock the 370z is better. If you like tinkering The Nismo 350z IMO is a much better car.

I dropped 10K into it, and it's now a sleeper 2WD GTR. It looks stock, but still draws a lot of "negative" attention from the crowd. I cannot drive a mile without someone trying to prove how bad their 92 accord is, if you know what I mean. You are correct, the domestics pushing 600+HP will still out run it but they're DOA in five years, where this Z will be around as long as you maintenance it. A point to mention is the Z is NOT a drag car, it's a track car BIG difference.

I've been looking at 370 Z's forever, trying to find a decent one for around 15 grand, but most of the ones between 09 and 2015 are over 20 grand, like between $18,000-$30,000 with over 100,000 miles. I have an 04 350Z with only 56,000 miles on it, i bought it 2 years ago with only 52,000 miles on it for only $6,500 cash, privately, which is a hell of a deal, considering it Blue Book's for $9,800. I have adjustable coil overs dropped 2.5 inches on really nice Black 20 inch Wheels. I really want the 370 Nismo because the interior is a lot nicer and some of the cosmetic upgrades, but i think if i just get the exhaust done, and change my stock spoiler to the one that comes on the older 370 Nismo's, the bigger double layered wing and I'll be happy, until the brand new 2023 ''Z'' comes out, which is my dream car. The thing that i don't get is they say that new 2023 Z is supposed to be priced to start between $35 and $40 grand, which is super reasonable for a brand new Sports Car, but I'm very skeptical about that, considering i still see the 2018-2020 370 Z's priced between 35 -45 grand, so i find it hard to believe Nissan will be able to keep their introduction to a whole new, from the ground up, 400 stock horsepower Z for somewhere between 35-40 grand brand new.

I can speak quite confidently in confirming that the 370Z would be a very reliable car. I had a 2010 G37 coupe and as you mentioned in the vid, the two have the same engine, transmission and share quite a lot of other parts as well. My G had over 250k miles on it and would have kept going no problem if it hadn't been totaled... No, I didn't crash it. Someone just decided to ram into it while it was parked and make it slide 20 feet up onto the sidewalk... Only work it needed other than the normal maintenance work was a new water pump, a single section of new radiator hose, new front struts and new front control arms. It was seriously a bulletproof car and it didn't need ANY of that work until it already had over 200k miles on it.
@boomerspeed01244 жыл бұрын
Also, just to add to the awesomeness of this platform, the VQ37 sounds EPIC!! All I did was get rid of that big quiet suitcase of a muffler and replace it with two straight through design bullet mufflers (I believe they were Magnaflow Magnapacks) and it sounded pretty darn good. Those mufflers kept the raw sound that everyone loves these cars for, but toned it down just enough to be livable as far as drone and not being overly obnoxious to people around you. Cold starts were LOUD!! lol Also one weird attribute my car had was the hotter it was outside, the louder the exhaust would be. For example, on a 60 degree day, once the car is warmed up and running temp, the exhaust was much quieter than on an 80-90 degree day.

I just bough one 2 weeks ago. 2014 370Z with the sport package, 6MT, 32k miles!! And so far I love it! I used to have a 350Z some time ago and loved it, but this one it’s a whole different feeling. I owned over 80 cars in my lifetime (32years old, I buy, (fix) trade and sell cars for profit on the side) and this is the first car I actually want to keep for myself and not sell it. I had couple of legends jdm cars which now I regret not keeping them (FD RX7, 2 MR2 Turbos, MK4 Supra TT, Evo MR) but this 370Z even tho it may not get to that kind of status level as the other ones I mentioned, I still love the feeling of it.

You probably had a 350z DE because a 350z hr and 370z are pretty close in performance. A 350z hr would be a better buy because once both are tuned and full bolt on they are neck and neck but of course the 370z will by 130+ but ill rather pay 3-4k less and be almost as fast as a 370z with a 350z hr but nice buy man those 370zs here in Cali go from 13k-18k

I bought my 370Z Touring Coups Sports Package 9 years ago and with good maintenance, it looks and drives just like it always has.....great! I also put in a Stillen double cat exhaust system to raise the hp up to 350 and sound more raunchy. I must say that there has been no real problem mechanically although I am about to fix the loud "click" I get from the rear axle nut covers where the cotter pin clicks into it with acceleration and deceleration (but regularly heard when putting it into reverse). I cannot find factory advice as to whether this is really a problem but I am about to put a Kawasaki castellated axle nut on both axles to actually prevent future clicking. Nissan has never upgraded this flaw and I suppose it is because it is not a significant problem. Otherwise I am very happy with my Z and I had plenty of money to spend on other things since I did not buy a BMW, Porsche, or another very expensive sports car. Still, many non-sports car afficionados ask me if its a "Porsche". If it was any more powerful, I probably might have wrecked it.

Remember B-Rad Gee, you could get an Infiniti G37. It's pretty much the same car, same engine. Plus tiny back seats should have a positive affect on your insurance. My ideal 370 would be a 2013 and up Nismo, 6 sp manual. Any of the lighter colors, prefer white. Would also not mind having one of the anniversary editions, but 6 sp manual is a must. Not having it is a deal breaker. Prefer stock, unmoded. Exhaust is acceptable.

I always liked the z brand. Was thinking about picking up a 370z but my only issue with them is it you want more power you have to go boosted. Kits for these cars cost as much as you paid for the car. Most cars I looked at your looking at 5 to 6k Not for the Z your in the 10k range if not more.
