Don't forget the Kboix is still just a Prototype. A lot of things can still change in the future. As of now, there are 150 testers (with me included) who are testing the shoe. I am planning a more detailed review of the shoe after testing it. In the meantime let me know if you have any questions about the Kboix!

thanks for sharing, great information overall. one question regarding the sizing ? does it fit true to size ?
@HungaroExplorer3 күн бұрын
Thank You! Yes, I use US size 9 on every Nnormal shoes and the Kboix is the same fit.

Such a brilliant idea. The foam always wears out before the outsole or upper. I wish I could replace the foam on all my running shoes and just keep using them. Is the thickness of each of the foams all the same?
@HungaroExplorer3 ай бұрын
Great questions. I totally forgot to mention in the video: Heel height 30mm, Forefoot height 24mm with a 6mm drop.

Just for clarification, all three midsoles come with the shoe? Or are they sold separately?
@HungaroExplorerАй бұрын
That is a great question. The marketing team is working on figuring that out. I would like to see the shoe to come with at least 2 insoles standard or even 3, but it is not clear yet. I update you when I know more.

@@HungaroExplorer I agree. Thank you.

@hungaroexplorer what trail running shoe do you recommend for the muddy ridge hikes like wili wili nui? I used to have the Salomon Wildcross 2 which you recommended but they broke. I was thinking about getting the Alphacross 5 because they have a lug depth of 6.5mm. What do you suggest?
@HungaroExplorer2 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, I had like 3 pairs of WildCrosses I used for muddy terrain. Other options from Salomon is SpeedCross 6 series which have great traction. I currently like the Salomon ThunderCross that has a bit wider toebox and good traction too. However, if you want the most durable shoe with really good grip then you want to take a look at the Nnormal Tomir 2.0. That is my favorite shoe for technical terrain. I hope this helps.

Great first look. How's the ride compared to the Kjerag? Is the Kboix with the Reactive midsole as fast and nimble as the Kjerag? Is it noticeably more plush than the Kjerag with the Soft midsole?
@HungaroExplorer3 ай бұрын
Thank You and great questions. As I said in the video I ran with each midsole some miles, but not enough yet. Yes, the Reactive is nimble and feels fast, but keep in mind this shoe is a multisport shoe and not a racing shoe, so it has a different overall feel to it, however you can definitely race in it in my opinion. The Soft is plush, feels super comfortable. You can notice the difference compared to the Kjerag.

@@HungaroExplorer Awesome-thank you so much! Looking forward to your more in-depth review (your LaSpo Bushido 2 review got me to buy that shoe back then)

I'm allready using Tomir2 and Kjerag. Could you say something about how the different midsoles feel like comparing to the Tomir2 and Kjerag? Does one of the soles give a similar feel to Tomir2 or Kjerag? Or are one of the soles really different to the Tomir2 and Kjerag? Another question: The lugs. They look similar to the Kjerag, but are they a bit deeper? Looks like they might be a 1mm or 2mm deeper?
@HungaroExplorerАй бұрын
The midsoles in my opinion are softer, cushier than Tomir 2. The sole is exactly the one that the Kjerag has, at least that what it looks like. I didn’t measure the lugs but they suppose to be 3.5mm. They might look closer to 4mm but again I did not measure them. It feels different than the Tomir or the Kjerag though. It is more of a multi-sport shoe that can handle all.

Wider toe box would be amazing!!🙏🏽
@HungaroExplorer3 ай бұрын
This does feel pretty wide for me, but there are for sure people with wider feet than mine😄
@mr.ultrafino68913 ай бұрын
Absolutely. If you are creating long distance trail runner, you start with a comfortable shape. The changeable midsole is a nice concept but the narrow angled toebox is a no-no for me from the start.
@HungaroExplorer3 ай бұрын
Don’t forget that this is not a specific long distnace trail runner, it is a multisport shoe. I really like it for hiking for example but this could even work out as a workout shoe in my opinion. It is a versatile shoe.
