If anyone says anything but congratulations please don't pay them any attention. It always seems like you are apologizing or explaining your POV, and you shouldn't. You are awesome and have an awesome family. That is why we watch you. If you saw me on the the street you wouldn't think we have anything in common but I watch you because your family inspires me. A 40year old Black women from Colorado. I have 3 young adult children that are raised completely different from how yours are being raised. And still you are an inspiration to me. Keep it up and keep being you. Even though its a slogan and kind of cliche, Just Do it.

Living the dream my friends. You can connect them together whenever you feel like it. Keep a seed journal so you can decide what grows better in your area from the gifted seeds. Corn needs multiple rows to cross pollinate. Pack them in your space, using the three sisters . Corn is high so planting climbing beans besides them will climb the corn squash is planted closest to beans to shade the plant roots. You can make manure tea from your livestock. You rock! Just DO anything to make your life fulfilled. Keep on living..... hugs

You are a wonderful example of people who make your life an adventure. Only you can make yourselves happy, so do not worry about people who watch channels just to gripe and be negative about everything. Please, continue to think out of the box in all your efforts. I enjoy watching your projects and wish you the best in everything you do. It is exciting to see a young couple who are not bending to the whims and expectations of other people. Go, have fun and be happy. Mobile, Alabama Note: For a short or late season, if you like radishes, I suggest French Breakfast. They do well with seeding and are ready for harvest in about 30 days after the plants are about 3" tall. I do my garden in planters in my courtyard and also try and learn, always having a great time.

This was awesomw. I literally had a whim about a 2 weeks ago to build raised beds for a garden. I know that I was late this year as well but it is okay we started. I just went over to my woodpile to see what I had and now I have 6 raised beds. I started some seeds a couple weeks ago in my shed though I'm planting my lettuce today as well as my onions. And then I started my compost pile bin about a week ago I'm actually going to go turn it today

Having little patches like that (especially with no expectations), are perfect little patches for your daughter to watch after. She can get outside for an hour in the morning, taking a break from school work (I believe she's home schooled) to check on, weed, water, plant more, and finally harvest. Of course if she's not home schooled, she can help once the school year is over. I think it's a great idea. You're so busy with the house, but a way to get some fresh produce into the house, and establish a pattern of getting outside and working the land a little at a time.
