Honestly speaking, i didn’t mind what the Eris did. In fact, I was actually proud of what they did. This will let Zaros know that he shouldn’t be running his mouth freely like that. Not in a mean or rude way. I’m saying that he should be more careful of WHO and WHAT he speaks about. I mean, yes it’s good to voice your opinion but sometimes u need to be careful. I noticed that he likes to always voice his opinions and thoughts about anything and everything that he sees that does not fit. Some or worse, MOST people will most likely take that to their advantage and sabotage him. I mean, let’s be real. The Eris doesn’t want to be the next ruler of Serula. They just want to be free but that’s just how I see it. Zaros mentioned it before remember? They wanted to relinquish their position or duty and just travel the world. So I think it’s safe for me to say that they’re only doing this for their mother. Maybe they’re afraid that if they do what they want then, something bad will happen to their mother. So maybe, the Eris is not ONLY just trying to compete against Zaros for the Throne but also preparing them for it cause really, out of the 2 of them, they know better than Zaros on how things work inside the castle or whatever. Yk what I mean 😅. Anyways. Who knows. Those are just my thoughts. Great work as always Saku❤

Your sound design is just incredible! Even with no imagery, the echoes, shuffling, paper and pens, really do all the necessary work. I neglect that aspect too much in my own audios, so I think I've found inspiration over here...XD It really goes to show the quality of your work with how polarising of a character Zaros is... he infuriates so many listeners, but just as many adore him! I think the 'rivals' trope is played too much with a romantic endgame, and while I wouldn't be opposed to that ending, I also wonder what a potential future where some event forces them to collaborate instead, leading to someone receiving the 'eminence' title but the other remaining in some related position like an advisor could look like. So... former friends/enemies/allies(?) I'm excited to listen when the time comes! I'm sure plenty of others had this impression listening to this series, but every named character is some level of deceitful, including the listener character. After reading some of the responses in the transcription, and thinking back to some of Zaros' (and, by extension, his mother's) comments, they really do show the character of someone who has spent years perfecting themselves for a single role, and made all the necessary sacrifices (ego, for instance - I would have yelled at the bastard till we both went deaf!) to do so. When the series started, I was dreading that the listener would be incompetent and Zaros merely a contrarian parroting his mother's beliefs, and while those impressions haven't entirely struck me as incorrect, you've certainly subverted everyone's expectations. Zaros is perhaps too convinced of his ideals to realise that what he believes 'the people' want is not necessarily what 'they' want, and Earis perhaps has a little too much pride left to comfortably accept this (stealing his idea seems to be more than a grasp at straws, they definitely had ulterior reasons for doing so) - they thrive on each other's intellect, how could either of them believe their opponent is a fool? In a literary climate of sour tropes and boring characters their dynamic should be praised more! (Genuinely, whatever money you make off this, it's not nearly enough /hj) You can really tell when a creator is in love with their work. That comment about "resorting to obvious writing that I would rather avoid at all costs" cements it. Without making too many dangerous assumptions... I remember seeing a post from you from a while back about writing block? I hope your love for creating becomes your way around it. Please never feel the need to commercialise these projects - if there's one thing 'Kiki's Delivery Service' taught all artists, it's that more work is generally a shit cure for stagnation. You've created something special with your works, always remember that. 화이팅!!

One of the best things I could've woken up to (My thought throughout the video) It's crazy how you can just feel how absolutely out of depth the listener is. Zaros is absolutely wiping the floor with them. I like that they agree on some things but you can kinda tell Zaros has thought about all of this for some time and genuinely believes in what he's saying, while listener feeels like the total opposite. Zaros sounds genuine with his long answers and pause and the thought put into his words, and I don't know if the short pause for listener's pauses is just so it's not to much silence or what but in my mind it's them giving blunt short worded answers. THE GASP I GASPED WHEN I REALIZED WHY ZAROS PULLED THEM ASIDE- LISTENEEEEEERRR HOW COULD YOU WE WERE MAKING PROGREESSSSS WITH HIM- UGH Looks like we might be back to square one guys 😮‍💨 NOT THE 'LEACH' FOLLOWED BY THE GOOD DAY OH ZAROS IT HURTS. Tis the return of the Noble Trials. I love this series so far especially the plot line. Its different and authentic from other stories and videos. I had a sinking feeling in my chest not cuz the audio was bad but because it was THAT GOOD. You can really tell the priorities for both Earis and Zaros in this audio. Earis's priority has always been securing the throne and to be in power while Zaros actually wants the betterment of the nation. I was kinda surprised when Zaros's first proposition would be to better the position of Serulla among the other dominions and not you know work on a rural/poor part of Serulla, but I guess you have to look at every aspect when it comes to looking after a dominion. The reason I had a sinking feeling in my chest cuz I felt bad for Zaros, the man maybe a dick and the snarkiest but he still has to go through sabotages, the other nobles not approving, his mother putting him in this situation and her expectations and on top of that Earis has to steal his answer. I was really angry with Earis and Zaros's response to everything just made me feel so sad for him. It really sounded like he didnt ask for any of this and he was just done with everything and accepted his fate yk. AHAHA I rambled on for too long, but it all boils down to, that its a brilliant audio, and I was really immersed in it so Thank you!

I've been reading the comments for the past few days after this episode was released, and I keep seeing comments that the Earis did the right thing to steal Zaros' argument/opinion and that it should be Zaros' lesson not to run his mouth freely, especially in front of his opponent. However, during the "mock" debate in the garden, I feel like Zaros trusted the Eris at that time so they wouldn't steal their opinion. Also, Zaros mentioned that maybe the Earis offered to drink with them that time to let his guard down and suck out his opinion on certain topics like a leech but I feel like the Eris offered to have a drink with them because they just wanted to have a proper conversation with their old friend. Zaros calling us leech hurts me in every way☹ also the amount of effort I could hear in this episode is so amazing, great work as always Saku!!🤍

Honestly? The way I see it, it comes off as a warning. Zaros always voice his opinion on everything infront of us which is good but he said too much to the point he basically view the Earis with no threat. If you notice from the previous episode, we were being very quiet. Quiet and letting Zaros talk about everything without him realizing he just gave out a vital information for the trial.
