Omfg I am so fucking happy that Yeolo covered the points that I was thinking. Tbh, Ryan and Sylvia aint perfect human beings and have made mistakes here and there. (some mistakes bigger than others) But the real people suffering is the employees. They aren't paid, forced to OT, shamed for what they wear and their mental illness and apparently played favourites amongst talents. But somehow got sideline because Sylvia cheated on Ryan, Ryan is manipulative. Like all these don't explain the verbal abuse you put the employees through and also don't explain how you withhold their pay like tf????

Also, the employees that are still in the company are forced to maintain silence and didn't even get the apology they deserved. Just a email telling them to keep quiet or there would be consequences.

Lmao I honestly didn't even know this drama happened until KZbin suddenly recommended me a video about it last week. And tbh I am mostly apathetic towards it, I've never really had a good impression of NOC because I didn't hear good things about them when I was part of the industry (I never worked with NOC, but the people I met kinda viewed NOC in a negative light in terms of their practices and overall lack of professionalism, but do note that I was working with the older generation, the type that has been filming shows in Singapore and overseas for decades... so boomers, basically). That said, I am most likely gonna just wait for the police investigations. Both sides are clearly messed up, and both sides are also mixing truths with lies. I just find it ridiculous that these people are airing their dirty laundry out in public. If the employees really felt like they had 'no choice', then bring it up to MOM to start an investigation. Why bring it to the internet?

I used to watch some NOC contents and was a big fan of Food King. Then got busy with life so haven't watched them for a year or so. Then I read/heard about Dee Kosh and now about Ryan and Sylvia. Hope Aiken's alright. Whatever has happened, it is quite sad really. We just never know what goes on behind the scenes. Thanks for explaining succinctly. It was easily digested.
